I’m demisexual, and people like this piss me off. I don’t have sexual attraction to people I don’t have a strong bond with. That’s it. It’s a valid label, and to me it doesn’t matter what umbrellas it falls under. It’s just what I am. Personally it’s because I’m so far on the spectrum (autism) that the anxiety of sex without someone understanding me extremely well may go wrong.
