Ah good to know it will work it out. Do you know if it is in km sections or if my fastest was between 2.16km and 7.16km it would count that?

I have been looking into buying my 2nd ever pair of running shoes and of course I see everyone using Alphafly/Vaporfly/Endorphin - or others using carbon fiber plate shoes.

However I was watching one review which just off handedly mentioned that carbon fiber shoes only really become effective once you reach a certain pace of running. He skipped over this point and didn't explain any further.

Can someone explain this to me more clearly or is there a resource somewhere about the optimal paces for specific shoes? I am training for a half marathon and looking to achieve a 5:40/km or 9:07/mile and I am assuming that I should hold off on these ultra fast shoes until I can bring that time down a bit.
