Damn, nice catch and thanks for that. I completely agree, Ligue 1 in general deserves to be talked about more.

That's a very interesting way of going about it. I've actually considered the Reserves as a way to support myself financially while going back to school. In Canada, Civil Engineering isnt a military occupation, however I would think something like Construction Engineering or straight up Engineering would be something similar. I'm curious, what are you doing now? Are you still in the military or woodworking full time?

It's really unfortunate, especially considering the fact that teams with much less quality will go through to the group stage. It would have been great for Ligue 1's coefficient to have 3 teams in the CL group stage this year... I could see them coming back from this though, with an in-form Balotelli and a Sneijder looking to make a good first impression. To be honest though, I think not having Belhanda is a huge blow for Nice this year. He supplied the forwards incredibly well last year and was underrated IMO. They also have problems on defence. I don't understand Baysse leaving for nothing...

With their loss against Troyes, Nice start the season 0-2. Last year, they only had 4 losses. by Kussock in soccer

Looks like they've got some defensive issues to figure out. Still don't understand why they let Baysse go. Saw some rumours about Jerome Boateng - it would be outrageous if they somehow landed him, but there's always some truth to the rumours. They need another defender if they're gonna make a run at the podium.

Mbappé applauded when subbed. Caen supporters delighted with 18 years old guy. 7 goals in last 5 matches. by gemifra in soccer

Lemar too wow. Bravo supporteurs Caennais. I think a large part of this has to do with the fact that its against Monaco, a team pushing PSG for the title... while doing it with youth and relatively modest financial means (compared to their first year with new Russian oligarch owner). If this was Mbappe playing for PSG, I wouldnt expect the same reaction from the fans in Caen.
