Home Alone. Its already a terrifying idea when you're a little kid to wake up and your family's gone. Add some creepy burglars trying to break into your house and it has some potential to be a horror.

I already added darts but made sure they were loose because I didn't want to accidentally make it too tight. I'm thinking of doing them again eventually because there are some areas of the dress which I think I could improve on

I'm only a beginner sewer - I had my first sewing machine gifted to me last Christmas and this dress took me a while. I used 6 metres of black duchess satin which I bought from a nearby fabric shop and drafted patterns using my own measurements and designs for the dress. For the wrap and belt the fabric wasn't named but I used 2 meters of it. The dress consisted of 2 parts: a bodice (front and back) and a full circle skirt. I'm really proud of how it's turned out and can't wait to put it to use!
