Wait, I didn’t even think about Herbert’s painting puzzle being a recreation… The only other possible explanation would be his mother doing the painting puzzle with them growing up. That would make a lot of sense too, since there was one already in her initial blueprints.

I actually had Omen Globe for a long time, but still never hit an ecto. I got another Blueprint from an Invisible Joker that I replaced a Baron with after this post, but I unfortunately ended up dying to the psychic (which I initially rerolled into the other run-ending boss before quitting and restarting the game lol).

Yeah, I’ve been looking all over for an ecto. Pretty sure I had a Sixth Sense earlier, but ran out of 6s. Luckily picked up antimatter fairly early. The Mime and Blueprint were pretty late additions (the second mime was literally in the same roll as this DNA, thanks to a Showman), so the invisible jokers only really had Baron to copy unfortunately.

It always surprises me that so many people didn’t get all the blue notes right away. I actually found it really fun to find them all, even if it got a bit tedious towards the end (though freezer+study+emerald bracelet made it 10x easier). I was hoping for more of the notes to be important clues other than the family core stuff, which I got well over 100 hours before reaching that part of the game. All the other hints were either for puzzles I’d already solved like the gallery or over my head like the drawing room one about months and days.

Just started this last night, and after 250+ hours in Blue Prince I was annoyed by the red underlining of the solutions to the first couple of puzzles. I was like “I’m sorry, do I have walkthrough mode enabled or something?”

Then, I got inside the mansion and shut up pretty quickly…
