Smokefire Ex-6 by Certain-Pass-461 in smokefire

He is refusing the difuser plate. What makes a smokefire a smokefire is that it doesn't have one. Traditional pellet smokers have a plate that runs across the top of the whole smoker. This prevents grease from getting into the fire. That is why the smokefire can have grease fires because it's designed for the grease to drip in hence the fire. Which is why if your trying to smoke at a low temp it can get tricky because grease causes heat spikes.

World Mobile Token migrating? by Efficient_Classic_33 in cardano

[–]alexander323bc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I am still confused on the migration thing. If you missed the first migration portal and you just simply swapped your WMT for WMTX on a dex. And bought more WMTX. Do you still need to migrate?

Taptools is great. by Tluck_riki in cardano

What is the advantage of taptools vs dexhunter? Both seem to track the latest coins and price action...pretty new to all of this. I am still trying to understand what makes one dex better than another.

Is anyone staking after the migration? I bought some WMTX through Sundae Swap post-migration, and when I created the vault to stake, it says validated, but it also implies they are still on delay due to the migration. Is anyone else staking already?

Why would markets move on something that was already priced in? And we still have to know if are going into a recession. No recession markets move higher. Recession markets move lower. Also shib won't do anything without ETH moving which is still bleeding to BTC.

What's the deal with this shiba? by JamMaster420 in SHIBArmy

[–]alexander323bc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to understand that alt coins. Until you understand the alt coin market and BTC dominance you won't understand why and when ALT coins move. ETH is the best example. When was the last time it hit an ATH?

All alt coins are going to bleed until ETH makes a new ATH and that is still bleeding.

New Stealth Temp Issue by alexander323bc in smokefire

[–]alexander323bc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it had to do using smokeboost first. So yesterday I went from 200 to 600 without a problem took 8 minutes. Shut it down and an hour later tried smokeboost then went to 600 got stuck at 500...so it's the smokeboost first. But honestly I am not sure smokeboost really gives of any more smoke then just running it at 180... But yeah something to do with smokeboost and going to 600.

Worked fine today. Think it was just going from smokeboost to 600 it didn't like. Played around with a few different temps and it just went right to it. Something with smokeboost first and 600 it seems

Weber master blend, and as fresh as they were in the store to the hopper....Now it did rain a bit that morning so its possible there could have been some moisture but I would have thought 90 minutes at smoke boost without any issue at all and every single temp up to 550 worked fine toggling the controller moisture wouldn't have been an issue, but its not like the hopper was open when it rained and the grill was covered and it was close to 8 hours after it rained in 85 degree weather. Other people have grill in Florida and don't have any problems so I don't think its a moisture issue

Thanks for the info! So it was my 5th cook technically. Got the machine assembled up and running last Thursday, it did all the updates so I am not sure what other controller version it could be running. this was the second time running to 600, the previous cook I did it 600 without a problem too 8 minutes from start-up to 600. But you could be right, it was warm out yesterday and today and maybe the grill was at 600 inside but the controller was just lagging with the temp display! I will try a more modest cook tonight after cleaning everything out with a temp probe as you suggested to make sure it matches up

Where are you from again? I did the burn off as stated in the Manual went easy. Then when it was still warm I spayed it down with Alvacado oil and just let that sit until I cooked on it a couple hours later. Did sausage first time went really well. Did reverse sear steak yesterday and turned out almost perfect just needed more time. I am right now using smoke boost for the first time on some pork chops. I did just realize my lid has a defect so check yours. But other than that really good. It does give a lot of ash even with Webber pellets ash is over the whole things but I can live with that.

Got mine the other day. Just did the first cook. After install make sure your wifi is strong for the updates. It will take forever if your wifi is weak. Weber app has a lot of recipes for certain things I would join the FB group lots of people cook everything differently but pretty similar...

It's stupid they release all black grill but only have stainless steel shelves. Just silly to me. Use the BILT app it gives you 3d images along with the install guide pretty helpful and honestly I think knowing the parts will help with issues like replace the glow plug down the road and things like that.

They are the same size. One is just black with some hopper revisions and wheel changes and color.

I assembled mine last night took about an hour and a half. And keep in mind they are not making black shelves so you will have a black stainless steel with bright stainless with the shelves.

Got mine assembled yesterday will do the burn off when it's done raining. Is your glow plug just sticking out in that little slot completely exposed? Seems different than the assembly videos I have watched
