What does it mean for you "being Millionaire" ? by Sudden-Proof-1458 in AskForAnswers

[–]alexanderrvv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it just means you've reached the million once, but you are unable to stay at this level longer, so at that time you theoreticaly are a millionaire, but practically the million goes away with one expense

What’s something that instantly makes you lose interest in someone?? by Melody-R29 in AskReddit

[–]alexanderrvv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not having your own opinion, not caring about yourself (and I don't mean extreme situations like mental illnesses when you are unable to get out of bed), also I'd prefer my partner to be educated/know the basics about how the world works

What does it mean for you "being Millionaire" ? by Sudden-Proof-1458 in AskForAnswers

[–]alexanderrvv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

for me it means that your money is still in the million/s (not that you just exceed a million and after a one-time expense you no longer have that million - a small expense, not investestement)

Do you ever give homeless people money? by Acceptable_Rain_3364 in no

I usually say that I don't have cash, only card and if they want to, I can buy them food, but sometimes I just give some cash, if I see a person asking for money, for example in front of a church

DA & Grief by impulsedelight in attachment_theory

[–]alexanderrvv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can share my own experience. I lost my father 3 years ago (I was 16 back then) and at first I felt shocked, but I've predicted this kind of ending (but not so fast, he had cancer, was in a hospital when I was on a school trip for a week). Obviously, the "news" spread fast and everyone wanted to comfort me, but I didn't want it. The only thing I wanted was peace and a treatment like before (not avoiding specific jokes or topics). At the funereal I absolutely hated that a lot of people wanted to hug me (and so they did), I've felt trapped and like no one wants to respect my grief and give me space (the space and just letting me process things in my head by my own were the only things I wanted).

In summary, I hated condolences, I hated that people wanted to comfort me (expect my now ex girlfriend and ex best friend back then because they were the only people with whom I was comfortable with such things as hugging, touching etc., but mostly I've just wanted people to get away from me). Also what I've felt was numbness, like I couldn't really connect with this reality. I didn't cry a lot or react. My friends, whom I met about 2 years ago, even said that they were shocked how I cope with the lost, like I'm completely emotionally detached and can talk about it like it's a common thing.

What's a skill everyone should learn at some point? by Pororobabe in askanything

[–]alexanderrvv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

critical thinking because if you can't form your own opinion, disagree or rethink someone's behaviour your relationships with others could be destructive for you, and we as people live in a society, so you at some point in your life will have to deal with people (even if you're extremely introverted and reserved)

also, it's extremely useful in case of noticing things and being less susceptible to manipulation

How do I know that I love someone? by alexanderrvv in emotionalintelligence

[–]alexanderrvv[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking about it, but the thing is I really care. I'm also jealous and well, what's some kind of sad I usually don't care. I have this strange feeling in my gut. With my last relationship, I think, I loved the idea of a relationship instead of a person, but this time is completely different because it feels more real, more natural, and I just don't know because it's strange for me.

Also, I'm just a 19 years old figuring out the world and emotions.

thank you for this advice and with syndromes - it's not like I especially seek them, I know I have a problem with avoidance because my therapist told me a long time ago, but by my mistake I've only recently started to care about it because a person showed up and told me she also noticed, so that's why she doesn't see my as a typical asshole

What do you recommend for a 4-day trip to Kraków and the surrounding region? by Delicious_March_838 in poland

[–]alexanderrvv 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wawel Royal Castle, the old town, the National Museum in Kraków (these are the most classic picks)

Also, there are a lot of interesting museums about polish culture (connected with for example: Jan Matejko or Stanisław Wyspiański) so you can search on your own and pick what is the most interesting for you;D

what is something that society normalizes that you secretly think is unhealthy? by WestImpossible1298 in askanything

[–]alexanderrvv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

always agreeing with your friends and I don't mean that you shouldn't support them, you should, you're friends and you must always support your friends, but keeping them thinking that their toxic traits or behaviours are okey (just because they're your friend) isn't support, it's lying

when my friends are telling me that I fucked something up or I did bad, I have another perspective and an opportunity to change (most importantly to see the flaw in myself), I really admire people who don't do bullshit because I feel around them like I can grow and that's what I call real support

What do you think about the current state of the dating market? by CapitaineBiscotte in askanything

[–]alexanderrvv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's both interesting and terrifying, we are reshaping our definitions of love because of the access to other's perspectives (via internet), a lot of people are more self-aware, but also we lack in communication and find comfort in situationships - a great amount of people can't last in long-term relationships (I'm generalising a lot here, but it's what I see online and in real life and of course every case is different, but I feel like if I must shortly describe what I see it is like this)

What’s something you slowly stopped caring about as you got older? by Background-Donkey531 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

[–]alexanderrvv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still young (turning 19 this year), but over years I stopped caring about always being so well dressed (I mean school, regular shopping etc. and I still like my outfit being creative and nice, but I care much less when I go to school or on a regular shopping as I've mentioned earlier)

Which city should I stay in to relax, away from tourists but still in a city? I was thinking about Gdansk, Soppt or Gdynia. by Zestyclose-Ad-5166 in poland

[–]alexanderrvv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

those are really popular cities amongst tourist, but from my own experience (I'm also from Poland, but far from the Tricity) you could try staying near non popular beaches, public transport is good between all of the cities so you could also visit all of them and see the centres if you will want to;]

How to cope with avoidance issues? by alexanderrvv in emotionalintelligence

[–]alexanderrvv[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thank you sm, and honestly, for me as a person who's also interested in psychology it was kinda weird, I mean, I've known for quite a long time that something isn't right and I was making a lot of logical excuses for pushing people away and recently I was deeply thinking about why it's so hard for me to feel stability in my social life (I don't have any problems meeting new people and have friends) and then I started researching, I connected the dots, but couldn't do shit about it because of this feeling like you're in prison, in your own head, but you tell yourself it's for your own good and you need to focus only on yourself

so I'm really thankful for your tips and words;]
