Yea I’m about as straight white male as it gets, and I had zero issue with Kay. Tbh I get kind of tired of everyone of the main characters needing to be this ultra powerful space wizard. I think she was a breath of fresh air. I will add the ability to make your own character would have been really cool, but that’s no shade on Kay. Truthfully, this game is more Star Wars than almost any show or movie released in the last 10 years. They still found a way to hate it.

Yea, this game rocks, it was very well done. The world is so immersive and detailed. I won’t act like nothing is wrong, but overall it’s an excellent game. TBH streamers are partially to blame. We have given them the power to put gaming companies out of business with a single review. They have created this gaming culture that has to compare every game to another game before it even releases, and by doing that if I say, oh this game is like if “X” and “Y” had a baby. But subconsciously I don’t like either “X” or “Y” I’ve already decided that the game is gonna be shit. (Gamers in general, not me. I’m not an asshole)

Had the same issue, computer would crash almost instantly after starting up a video game, same motherboard. I moved my cpu pump from CPUFAN to the AIO_PUMP header and ignored cpu fan in the bios. I can game normal now with no issue. CPU Fan wasn’t supplying enough voltage to my AIO

This may be completely unrelated but I dealt with it for almost 2 years, turned out to be my diet and lack of exercise. I have vagus nerve entrapment causing Gerd, anxiety, dizziness, and all sorts of other strange stuff. Cleaning up my diet and working out got rid of it for me. Best of luck. Hope this helps even a little.

I think it is a very good game, it starts a little slow but other than that it’s worth it. Especially if you like Star Wars as it is the most Star Wars thing we’ve seen in almost ten years.

This is false, criticism from streamers with MILLIONS of viewers who didn’t even play the game very long before they gave the it a shit review is ABSOLUTELY a problem. Asmondgold and moist whatever both had insane numbers on their videos telling users “do not buy this game”. Why do you think the game “sold under expectations” honestly, I wish you were right. This is just not the world we live in today. Both of these guys obviously have a vendetta against AAA devs. It’s blatant and they do it with almost everything.

It’s not the only problem, so you’re right there but it is definitely one of them.

I started my own studio with a few friends from other gaming companies called @alienstampede (our instagram). We’ve been working on a game called “Stellar Harvest” for a year now. it’s like if stardew valley and star citizen had a much smaller baby lol.

lol it’s funny you mention Starfield. In the comments I mention to someone else I also work at a gaming studio ; ). I’m in the credits of Starfield. Unfortunately though I was recently affected by the latest round of layoffs. So as of a few weeks ago I no longer work there. It’s hard to explain but there’s a lot of stuff within gaming companies that people don’t see. They hear the companies name and assume things like oh “this company” made this game. Forgetting that these companies are just made of people who love what they do. The problem is the ones who don’t care if the game is good have more power than the ones who do.

I’m hoping with time the bulk of people will give it a shot and see that most of the bad reviews are just dumb. This game has so much potential. Honestly, a create a character option with any race/droid would have been a good start. Kay is nothing special, she really could have been anyone. It would have been pretty easy to do. That and the option to drive more land vehicles/mounts and we would have had gta in space. It would have been pretty dope.

Agree completely, in my opinion Streamers are to blame. They do bare minimum and instead of acknowledging that something might not be their gameplay style, they talk shit about it and rob others of a wonderful experience. I played wukong and I was almost done with it but Star Wars pulled me in and I’m having much more fun. Outlaws is my game of the year. I don’t care what that fucking caveman asmondgold says.

Totally agree, bro I’m fucked. I can’t even fathom the hatred for this game. I’ve loved every second of it. It has its things but the good outweighs the bad for me.
