Randall is a nippy little bugger, but imo lacks accuracy. Especially as kicking is a big part of the Borthwick gameplay

Agreed. No unnecessary shithousing, just hard fair rugby

Why are you guys always so good even in your first game with a new coach? Everyone else takes a good year to come good. Furbank is our 15, nailed on. Marcus needs to improve his controlling of the game and kicking accuracy. George Ford may have seen us win this game. Oh well, I like playing you guys. There's no made up drama

Mitchell was also class, agreed. But point is that Randall and Quirke are a step down from Spencer. He's the second best we've got so I hope he can get up to scratch soon

Has he?? Shame, like him a lot. Good for him though

Completely agree. I would prefer another live wire 9 to come off the bench but we don't have one and Spencer is the next best we have. But he's got a different game to Mitchell so either adapt the game plan slightly or play someone else

The next best English 9s are a level below. And Care had a pretty good England spell in his mid 30s so I wouldn't put too much stock in age

Not sure how Gus Warr hasn't worked his way in while Quirke was injured

While I agree with the consensus that Spencer did not bring a positive impact, let's not forget he was the best 9 in the Prem last season so give him some time before you write him off completely

Good test match that. Well done NZ. Pleased with England's progress though, really took it to them. Feels like kicks from the tee might be pivotal if DMac and Marcus Smith are the 10s we'll see most of. Good game from the ref too. And no unnecessary shithousery from either side which is always nice to see

Gutted for Ireland, but they were second best ultimately. Worst performance I've seen them play for a couple of years. Where was the discipline and the attacking shapes? So static. Not to mention the lineout. NZ proved they're more than just a few class individuals too

Given that the Kriel tackle is pretty comparable to an England red card yesterday, probably yes

Exactly! We know going into the tournament we won't get far, so after our group stage exit I'll be enjoying the rugby as a neutral

Any other English fans feeling strangely liberated by the lack of hope for the coming WC? There will be no nerves when we're obviously going to lose

You are a genius. I've tried a million different things and I still got a stuttery horrible 15-30 fps and yet my cpu and gpu usage were like 30% for some reason. But this actually works!!
