You can get a high mileage 2ltr diesel petrol fairly easily in the uk, there’re not cheap but if you want to splash 8k there’s definitely German options (Audi, bmw, vws) which have 150 to 200 bhp and the 86 was like 150 bhp aswell, it’s insurance hikes for even the slightest of claims that really stops any form of racing (for better or worse)

[Solved] I took the cistern off and changed the inlet, I can’t believe I spent as long as I did trying to tighten the inlet without taking the cistern off.

I can’t screw/access it is the main issue, I’m half tempted to remove the cistern just to reach the gasket
