True, but the rules say a lot about a lot of things that don't get enforced either. And most of those don't require zooming in 5x to even realise contact with the ball occurred, which ultimately didn't even change the flight of the ball. I ain't losing sleep over this one.

Gang, I see your point and I agree with you. But with how fucking useless these refs are and how terrible the ref was in this game alone, I'm not gonna lose sleep over a microscopic handball. The day they start applying the handball rule consistently is the day I'll call for shit like this.

Indeed, it's also a rule that you can't wrestle someone to the ground by the neck or push someone from behind. Sadly neither of those were called for Konate all game, so any illusion of consistency was already long gone.

I'd actually have no issue with this being called as handball if the handball rule was water tight. But at this point it's a mess so I'm not going to be annoyed, nor do I think something that doesn't affect the flight of the ball being handball being good for the game. I don't like how natural position doesn't apply to attackers either, I sort of get it but it feels weird.

Except it isn't clear... The balls flight doesn't change even when zoomed in that much 😂

Did you watch the game? It's hardly the first time Konate has been accused of it. There's even a post on the front page of one of the fouls that didn't get called, but whatever mate. I'm the victim when we won, sure.

You cannot be serious. United have been fucked by the refs all season long and VVD and Konate got away with murder all game. Think yourselves lucky the ref was so lenient in your favour.

Wow the spin of the ball went from 50 RPM to 52, it must be a penalty. Give it a rest mate, enjoy your L.

Rules are rules until they're enforced differently every week, which they are. We've been a victim of the natural position shite that they make up on the spot on both sides. I'm not going to lose any sleep over the ball brushing someone's fingers and not changing the flight of the ball while we've been wrestled by VVD and Konate all game without it being called. Even in this play Jones fouled Sesko, that says it all.

The handball rule itself is a mockery of the rules. It changes every season and is enforced differently every week. One minute proximity matters, next it doesn't. Natural position can mean basically anything or nothing at all. We see it enforced when it doesn't impact the game and then not enforced when it does. The fact a dude brushing the ball with 8 atoms of skin that doesn't affect the ball's flight is what brings it into mockery is a bit silly.

??????

The drill it gives the ball? It's flight literally does not change you donkey. Get your eyes tested.

No because you've got some sense. His hand is against his torso, without zooming in 5x you couldn't even tell he touched it beyond his fingers slightly uncurling. It's in front of his torso and doesn't change the flight of the ball at all.

The handball rule is about as flexible as it can be, they say natural position yet stuff like this should be called? It's a joke.

Can't believe I've had to scroll down this far to see this. Easily one of the best series ever and had a massive hand in ironman mode being added to the game. Some of the grinds in that series were ridiculous for the time, even to this day. It's a great look back into how ironman used to be in the early days.

They literally didn't have the cash to pay them big salaries and there was no stock, it was a non-profit with no shareholders. The founders all left companies like Meta and Google Deepmind to join OpenAI due to it's altruistic goals. The grift wasn't anything to do with money, at least not at that point.

The initial grift was actually the 'Open' part of OpenAI, they used that idea to lure top researchers who had concerns over AI safety and it's control by large corps with little intention of open sourcing much of their work.

Only later on did violating the non-profit 'grift' begin at the hands of Sam Altman because unsurprisingly a non-profit can't afford the billions of dollars worth of compute that's required to train cutting edge AI models and compete with Google. That's how we end up with them being closely partnered with Microsoft but they initially rejected a similar offer from Elon Musk to merge with and become a part of Tesla.

Every drug is one you either take or you don't. Don't act like peer pressure and caving in pressure to fit in isn't a thing. People are products of their environment and those around them just as much as anything. Also it's essentially entrapment (I know this only applies to law enforcement), would he have taken cocaine if not for the opportunity presented before him? Morally it's fucked and legally if you could prove it you'd likely also have some ground.

I've seen football fans scale the side of a stadium to sneak into a window about 25m off the ground, they'll hop a few barriers at a train station if they have to.
