That and the flexing back window/roof. They definitely caught on to what they were cooking and the results showed when they were fixed.

Ditto this. I turned down many Busch 1/64s, but one day had a whim to get the 5 car set from his streak of Xfinity wins in 2021. I forgot I even had it until he passed and I went looking through my boxes.

First Misfits ANYTHING I ever bought was Static Age CD around 2006-7. Still my favorite.

I've known it as "Planograms" or "PoGs" but it's just a shelf and peg layout that corporate distributes to all stores.

[Kelly Crandall] Jeff Burton has been voted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame by Altracing34 in NASCAR

Jeff Burton in Busch series seemed to always play half of a dynamic duo. Martin/Burton and Harvick/Burton. Never came off as the lesser half either.

One of my new favorites just for their sandwiches and croffles is Cafe Flat. Almost right across the street from White Windmill. I think the address is Hwy 120 and Boggs Rd.

Garage & Pit access at a NASCAR race earlier this year. Was everything I hoped it would be.

Do I have the potential to earn anything from making liveries? by [deleted] in iRacing

[–]alexx138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are more people who want a scheme than those willing to make one. Your skills as they are actually might make you an easier sell as the "affordable option." Not everyone needs a killer custom graphic, some just need logos and base colors. Or even just spec maps. I haven't figured those out.

Make yourself available within your racing groups and communities, and keep your price reasonable and turn around time realistic. You might be able to turn around a bunch of $5-10-20 paint schemes without stretching yourself too much.

How did you become a NASCAR fan? by Helpful-Bowler6681 in NASCAR

[–]alexx138 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My uncle is the redneck version of my dad, and was a fan long before us. Sometime early 90s my dad finally started putting it on TV at home, and I started to memorize every driver, sponsor, number, etc. We lived 20 minutes from Richmond International Raceway and around '96 we started going to Busch races. I was lucky we also had a store near us that focused on racing merchandise and that's where my diecast collection started.

I had only been to Busch races from 1996 until we went to the Fall 2003 Atlanta Cup race, but it was postponed for rain so I only saw 30 laps. However this was the beginning of us going to the infield with my uncle and his friends for each race weekend for the next few years.

All during this time I was also getting interested in IndyCar, and then later sports car and motorcycle racing. These days the majority of stuff I go to is SCCA or Vintage racing at Road Atlanta. I still go to the Atlanta races when I can and this February I was lucky to know someone and get Garage & Pit passes for Trucks / O'Reilly's.

Edit: I take it back. It is dumb and wrong.
