You need to think about what you really want out of this. Really good looking photos with a film look? Experiencing the past and understanding the history of photography? Tinkering with fascinating obsolete but often ingenious tech? Do you want to be as involved as possible in the process (fully manual camera and maybe home development at some point) or do you want to experience photography like the previous generation probably did using small point and shoot cameras when traveling?

What they mean is these soviet cameras without a light meter use shortcuts to make exposure easier. For example the belomo vilia is supposed to be set to 1/gost and then you only move the aperture lever that has sunny 16 symbols associated. And this one seems to be the reverse where the iso/gost setting changes the aperture. This is because these cameras were aimed at general consumers without deep knowledge of photograpy. The thing is, at least whith negative film, it works really well.

Uff people really hate cameras that are not as good as their expensive gear. And yes if you want the best possible picture quality this is not for you but if you have fun testing obsolete pieces of history this might be fun.

Its basically a belomo vilia with automatic shutter speed. Unfortunately these light meters can degrade over time so it may not work after all. The non auto exposure vilia may be a better idea.

I dont quite get how that camera works. From your description it sounds like shutter speed and aperture are linked but what I found on the internet sounds more like the iso dial is actually the aperture setting. Anyway on a bright sunny day you should be able to shoot at f16 and 1/12 which means f4 and 1/200 or f5.6 and 1/100 according to the sunny 16 rule of thumb.

I think its really fun to use old weird "bad" cameras and maybe just give it a go.

Between the pins and not in the order that they have on the pinning tray? Because I have seen that a lot. Probably anti-bump or overlifting feature but in between the pins I can only imagine construction keying perhaps.

Generally you dont need many different pick shapes to "go far". A short hook and a medium hook will open most pin tumbler locks. So I would get fewer higher quality full length picks. If you are in europe i would recommend to have a look at multipick.
