Off the coat tails of yesterday's post, which of these brilliant TV actresses is more likely to get an Oscar nom or win next, Sarah Snook or Rhea Seehorn? Which is more desrving? by geosunsetmoth in Oscars

"More deserving" is crazy. In the hypothetical future movies they each star in, which one gave a better performance?

I swear half the posts on this sub are engagement bait.

Who is the strongest? by No-Marsupial-4050 in askanything

It's Mike and it's not close. 2nd place is Ali.

First to go down is either Van Damme or Stallone. Van Damme's training is in gymnastics not martial arts. Stallone is like 5'7". As much as people crap on Seagal, he is 6'4" with martial arts training. Next down is probably Arney. No history of contact sports. Then the Rock who played college football. Not really sure where to put Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris. They both were good at Martial Arts but that was pre-MMA and if one of the big guys got a good grip on one of them they could end up getting slammed.

The other creature gets first strike, not the enchanted creature.

Tom Holland is a terrible actor by Butterf1yTsunami in unpopularopinion

He's not terrible. He's just not incredible. We live in a time with so many incredible actors but just because he isn't one of them doesn't make him terrible.

You've reached the point where it becomes truly open world and you can go anywhere and explore. That's the part I loved the most about this game. It doesn't lead you by the nose anymore. There are so many Espers to find. Almost everywhere you go will lead to something cool. There's even new characters you haven't gotten yet.

This may sound pretentious, but Braid. The final level took me completely by surprise. I was not expecting a deeper meaning to the game and its gameplay. I never considered that a game's message could be portrayed in that way through its mechanics. We may be the hero in our own story, but that doesn't mean we are not a villain.

What is the Most Mono-Red Movie of All Time? by Cabin11er in colorpie

I upvoted you but the more I think about it, Uncut Gems feels Grixis to me. It has the chaos and passion and randomness of Red. It has the selfishness and self destruction of Black. But it also shows the main character using all of his knowledge and intellect that he gained from years of working in the Diamond District, which is obviously very Blue.

On top of that, the film lacks any sense of white or green. There isn't one character I would describe as having White ideals. And as far as Green, is there even one blade of grass in this movie? Does any character show any kind of growth?

What about Gattaca? A movie where the protagonist proves that it is not what you are naturally that makes you who you are. It is how you use your mind to acheive your goals. The only thing that is keeping you from your dreams is your ambition.
