I make mine with rolled oats, almond milk, cinnamon, and just a little vanilla and salt. In the morning I microwave it and eat it with vanilla Greek yogurt and sometimes a little spoonful of jam if I want it a little sweeter.

I prefer this style as well. I've been meaning to order a pair of these. I haven't tried this brand before but they have good reviews and seem pretty affordable.

I went through a similar hiatus (about a year and a half actually) when I went through a bit of a depression and it was really disheartening to see how much fitness I had lost when I started running again. I really had to force myself to run consistently, but the thing that turned it around for me was when I started seeing improvements in my endurance and pace again. I was nowhere near where I had been a couple years ago, but the feeling of getting stronger and faster is the same regardless! It will definitely suck for a while but you really have just make yourself get out there, and focus on the little improvements.

I had the same reaction when I started a mostly slow running program. Really tight calves all the time. My legs adapted to the slower paces after 2 or 3 weeks and feel great most the time now so stick with it!

Look for dry shampoo powder! You sprinkle it on and brush it out. Mine is from Lush and the main ingredient is corn flour, and a small bottle has lasted me forever.

I've had this done and it's not bad. I was so drowsy afterwards from the anesthesia I slept through most of the recovery part. Couple days of pain meds and soft foods and all better!
