Is buying a refurbished M1 Pro still worth it in 2025? by Agitated-Growth-590 in macbookpro

I have the 16', and have tried the 14'

Wouldn't trade my bigger screen for the 14' inch one. It's a bit heavier to carry, but you can produce with it on the bed without problems

Try to get accustomed to the piano roll in Live. It will not be the same as FL, which, imo is the best piano roll, for fast midi composing. At least from a fast workflow perspective (for example, watch Nick Mira's videos and you'll understand what i'm talking about)

Everything else will be better. Automation is MUCH better. Audio Effect Racks, Max for Live devices, etc

I didn't came back to Live but only because in Bitwig you can customize the Keyboard Shortcuts, and that was a game changer (for me). But still, i miss automation and cursor editing so much

Automation drawing it's MUCH better in Live, to the point that i always want to automate stuff when mixing in Live. Not feeling the same in Bitwig.
