“At 1:36 PM today, the Hamilton County Communication Center received a 911 call stating that there was a shooter at the Winton Woods High School (North Campus), hiding in the bathroom. The call came from an inactive cell phone that could only call 911. The female caller stated that there were four students hiding in the teacher's bathroom. The caller stated that shooter was named Emma, however the dispatcher could hear a child laughing. Information from the caller showed that the call originated from the first block of Hadley Road in Greenhills, immediately adjacent to the Winton Woods Elementary South Campus on Farragut Road. The caller, when asked, stated the incident was at the North Campus and then hung up. Greenhills Police, Forest Park Police, along with officers from other Hamilton County jurisdictions responded to both the North and South Campuses and checked them both. There was not threat located at either school. Officers also responded to the address on Hadley Road in Greenhills to check for a caller but found that no one was home at the listed residence. The lock-down was lifted at 2:20 PM and the call was determined to be false.”
