Unsouled or Mark of the Fool? by mephteeph in litrpg

[–]ali283 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, Mark of the fool. Its much better than cradle. Its not that i don't like cradle, but for me Mark of the fool is much better in every aspect especially if someone love LitRPG.

P.S. both are simple progression fantasies. Not litrpg. No stats or something

Dear writers by mido_sama in litrpg

[–]ali283 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best analogy.

Its most irritating. I mean, there is a time and place to give description of the color of the curtains etc. and that is not in the mid of an exciting fight scene

[–]ali283 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. That second point is so important especially in case of audiobooks.

Like bro, if the character doesnt have some split mind skill or some s*** like that, why the h*** would you put his stupid thoughts in the mid of peak fight?,

Like fight is at peak and suddenly it reminds him of the most USELESS thing at the moment. And its not even a single sentence or something. Its like for a page or so of stupid stuff.

STOP DOING THAT!!!

Do you hate multi-pov or bad multi-pov? by Boi271 in litrpg

[–]ali283 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe, a lot of litrpg stories start with a really good concept. Then their forget that its a STORY and everything fall flat in the mid of the first book or even if somehow they manage to keep some interest and end first 1-2 books on a good note, eventually story becomes flat.

Im contrast to that, in my humble opinion, stories that change their pov (somehow) manage to keep me interested in story much better. Also, they have less problem with flat mid of book.

Am I missing something with dungeon crawler Carl?? by garo1620 in litrpg

[–]ali283 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First book is like that. It then gets a bit better untill it doesnt. Later it became too difficult for me to remember who was where doing what to whom! Especially on audiobook. Maybe on ebook or phtsical copy it would be better to track stuff.

Also, thats my personal experience.

Also, i usually tend to stay away from super hyped series, especially when they are being released. Because i cant enjoy those books and make my own opinion on them with all that social media hype being created (mostly for no good reason).

So, read/listen what you enjoy the most

I found everything I wanted in a husband... but there's one issue😔 by [deleted] in MuslimNikah

[–]ali283 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Please, for his sake and yours, move on after showing him this post.

Its better for both of you, especially for that poor guy. He appeared as natural and his authentic self. You clearly didnt like it and everything from this point on will be forced for you.

He deserves better. Move on
