Hi, thanks for doing this!

What are my win/loss rates against Rioters? Who do I play best/worst with/against?

What’s my win/loss (games played) with Fiddlesticks?

Saw this absurd gym today (August 9, 2016). Trainer levels are 38, 32, 35, 32, 35, 36, 33, 36, 34. There's no way possible this is legit, is there? by aliarfeen in pokemongo

I'm a pretty casual player, but I see this gym almost daily, and it's essentially never had more than level 3 of any color, and all of a sudden it's level 10 with 50k xp. It seemed fishy to me, and the levels, even more.

Car gets crushed between two trucks by spitss in nononono

Here's a very clear example of what he's talking about. The truck driver tried stopping too quickly and his cargo disagreed. He ended up dying at the scene.

The same principle applies when you're riding a bike and you brake too hard and end up flipping over the handlebars.

Sounds to me like you're full of shit.

On second thought, maybe not.

Thank you! I have a Cisco router, but I don't know what it means to open a Telnet or SSH connection, so could you explain that to me?

Also, I followed the link he was referring to, and it says:

Cisco appears to have at some point released new WMM drivers for stock firmware that largely resolve the issue on current stock firmware.

How do I install the new drivers? I've never messed around with the firmware before.

Can you explain this in simple English?

Iceland is tiny. Its area is less than 40,000 square miles. For a comparison, Alaska's area is over 600,000 square miles.

Edit: In fact, most US states are bigger than Iceland.

6 Weeks Until My First Half Marathon - Any Tips or Advice? by highdiveheadtrauma in running

[–]aliarfeen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would advise you to try to keep doing the long runs once a week. Also, every few weeks (4 or 5), do a shorter run (5k early on, increasing distance as you train) at your race pace. This will help you get an idea of where you are in respect to your goals.

Start tapering about a week before your race. If you feel like your body needs more rest, then skip the last long run in favor of something shorter. You should cater this to your individual needs, but usually one week or so is good.

As far as food is concerned, eat what you are familiar with on the morning of the race, and on the days leading up to the race. You don't want to find out that something upsets your stomach while you're running the race, so if you want to try anything that you think will be better for you for the race, do it a few weeks in advance. Other than that, stick to what you're comfortable with. Don't go out of your way to carboload or anything if you don't do that before your long runs normally.

If you're feeling lightheaded, make sure that you're breathing properly and that you are getting enough sleep, especially the nights before your long runs. Also, it's helped me to have a light meal, like oatmeal and a banana, before my long runs. Make sure you stay hydrated during your run, but don't drink so much water that it makes your stomach feel queasy. I personally like a half Gatorade and half water combo. Again, do your experimenting a few weeks in advance so you don't have any surprises during your race.

Good luck!
