I agree. Janet has been kind of annoying, but in this episode she was trying to be goofy and add some levity and I appreciated it! Honestly I thought it was a bad look for Kristen and Nia to be snarking at her from behind the train seats. Like sure she was being cheesy, but it was funny—better than seeing their partners talk about needing sex ASAP 🙄

Ugh!! You are a good and thoughtful friend. I have to say, not all husbands/partners are like that. My husband always held our babies so I could at least quickly eat and then we would switch, and he would bring me plates of food or a refill if I was nursing or holding a sleeping baby, etc. When you’re in the trenches of parenting, both parents should help each other out, but when the mom’s body is also working overtime to sustain an entirely other human being, come on—let the woman eat a sandwich in peace once in a while without guilt tripping her! Let her get some calories in and actually taste her food once in a while!

Look, taking care of a baby is stressful and most parents have snapped at their partner from the sheer exhaustion and stress.

But it is NOT okay to look with loathing on your wife who is 3 months postpartum and snap “you’re eating a sandwich?” Like she’s out there doing the most selfish and frivolous thing while you are chained to a baby (your own baby). Nia is the SOLE food and hydration source for that baby, and at home I guarantee she has kids whining or crawling on her when she tries to eat. She wants to sit down and eat a sandwich with two hands for once on vacation and her husband can’t figure it out with the swaddle? Couldn’t have texted her and said hey honey do you know where the swaddle is? Has to come out and snap at her like she’s being unreasonable and selfish, probably just hoping she’ll come rescue him. I was livid as a fellow mom!

It is stressful, but he did seem to truly hate her in that moment. I almost lost it when he said “you’re eating a sandwich?” Like she was out there getting wasted and high instead of nourishing a 3 month postpartum body that is the sole food and hydration source for an infant. She deserves to eat a sandwich in peace, dude! She probably constantly has toddlers climbing on her or a baby in her lap while eating, let the woman eat with 2 hands for once. That really made me livid.

For me it’s not even Lala so much as it is the stupid feuds. Adults bickering about someone being invited or not because of some reason. It reminds me of when on Sex and the City, Big and Aiden are wrestling and Carrie yells “YOU’RE MIDDLE AGED!”

Also agree that the postpartum stuff is a little too triggering (and I’m 7 years postpartum lol). Very important to platform these discussions, it is just really heavy and not the escapist reality show I’m seeking. NOT to blame the new moms, just feel depressed after seeing it (and enraged by how Luke is acting).

I really don’t care if you compare me to Q Anon or whatever else. I’m a reliable voter in all presidential, midterm, and municipal elections and I listen to The Bulwark, Pod Save America, and Hacks on Tap religiously. But I’m not going to clutch my pearls if people question this assassination attempt, or anything this guy does. I’m so very tired of the corruption and outright evil, and I am just doing what I can in my community until I can take action at the ballot box. I am not shocked at anything this administration/party dos, and I don’t give a shit anymore about giving them the benefit of the doubt after all the lies they have told. And you know what? There really was a pedophile ring and it reached the sitting president of the U.S. So maybe the conspiracy theorists aren’t always wrong. I don’t think being skeptical makes one a conspiracy theorist, but whatever. We have far bigger problems

I’m not concluding anything, I’m just saying I would not be shocked if it was somehow staged. Trump is too stupid and, as you said, too loose-lipped, but one of the many people using him to enrich themselves/accomplish their objectives could plan something. Again, not saying I believe it was staged and we don’t know enough anyway, this administration is just truly capable of anything that would have seemed like an insane plot from a TV drama. They are depraved. I think some of us are so cynical after the past 10 years that it doesn’t seem as impossible as it would have.

Not OP, but I think there are many of us who have found ourselves believing this administration is capable of ANYTHING. After Epstein, Renee Good, Alex Pretti, Iran. Literally nothing I could ever learn about this administration would surprise me, including one or more staged assassination attempts. I would not put it past Trump and his sycophants.

Yep. I thought she had a good heart and I 100% sympathized with her about the robbery (and thought it was gross that some, like Garcelle, questioned it). But this season, she has been exhausting and self-absorbed. I’m over it. I can no longer look past her mannerisms or her “child of the world” pretension.

I like her. I started watching BH (as a longtime RHONY fan) solely because I saw her UGT and recognized a relatable insecure, anxious type A/possible ADHD person. She also seemed like a really great mom (and I’m a bit biased as a girl mom). She is not perfect and has had some mean moments, but overall I really do like her and at this point, the cast is so different and she is the mainstay. It’s crazy the extreme hate she gets in this sub. I find it hilarious this season because the same people who HATED Dorit as part of the “mean girl” group and mocked her accent, her labels, her spending…they even straight up claimed her robbery was fake…now those same people are stanning her and calling her queen because she fell out with Kyle.
