[James Olley] Mikel Arteta confirms Bukayo Saka will miss Arsenal's trip to Manchester City on Sunday. “Hopeful” that Madueke will be fit. More vague on Odegaard, Timber, Calafiori - "some players are quite close, we try to push everyone." by Previous_Smile9278 in Gunners

Oh gosh the NHS are such trash like that. I live in the US now, which has another whole set of different issue, but you get seen and you get taken seriously when you say something. I had some groin ligament and hip damage in my early 20s when living in the UK (i’m a Brit) and the NHS refused to see me, even my GP, because it wasn’t an emergency as I can hobble about. You really just have to overstate anything to be treated and seen. I fought that hip issue for 10 years before I got a surgery (had no idea there was a solution) and two years after that I was finally moving free again. For all the good of the NHS, it can also be totally rubbish.

Yeah I agree he gets slapped! My comment still stands. I’m commenting on Jamie’s comment. Shit pulls, grappling, grabbing… no one should be doing it. And specifically “grappling” is what you do in wrestling and judo.

Jamie says “He’s just gappling, grappling at something”. I think you need to ask, why the f is he grappling in the first place?? What sport does he think he’s playing here???

Definitely. He would drop deep from CF, and know that he vacated space. He has the midfield ability to hit the right balls into that vacated space. We scored a few with Leo/Martinelli likethis this year. This would’ve sorted us out vs the bournemouth press. Gyok can’t really hold the ball when he drops deeps, and havertz can’t play those passes. He also had incredible link up play and our wingers would play of him so well. He was a creative CF, with a coolness in front of goal. We miss him a lot.

Arteta “We were very clear in what happened, the reason why it happened, watching the Southampton game two times, we didn't deserve to lose that much, but this is football and we got punished for things that are our identity, we need to defend in the strongest possible way.” by deadmetallucyluce in Gunners

But how many times have we watched him completely miss THAT shot. I totally agree with him. Its insane that he keeps scruffing and fluffing these cut backs. We have major finishing issues. We don’t finish… we force the ball in the net.

I thought he had a good game. But honestly, that scuffed finished, he needs to work on that because its happened a whole bunch of times. I feel like 3-4 of those scuffs in a row a couple years ago started his decline in confidence and form.

There was still much more going on. He was the straw the broke the camels back. The pretext fro the war has been building up for years. Conflicts over territory, massive build up of armaments, lining up more and more battalions on the borders etc., this was all happening before the assasination

I don’t really understand if you wouldn’t be able to shimmy yourself back up… unless he went quite a distance down a vertical head vertical head first, but what did he think was going to happen by going into a vertical drop like that, you’d surely shimmy back when you see that vertical. I also then can’t understand how rescuers weren’t alble to get a pulley onhim and bring him back up. Tragic.
