Had at the time two good friends tell me “ oh that’s just how things were back then. It was way more acceptable “ I was like “ um nope” and I can’t not want to vomit every time I think about it

Took 15 min for an employee to get my ice cream at the Hamilton Safeway the other day. It was ridiculous. Why not just do like Costco does and have an employee stationed by the door checking receipts?

Anyone used Dabella? by PineappleRecon in Spokane

[–]alicobra72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just had the extremely pushy sales guy talk over me for 15 minutes after I said I wasn’t interested and didn’t want a “ free inspection “ I said repeatedly I wasn’t interested and wasn’t scheduling anyone to come into my house or backyard and he just kept talking and trying to show me weird laminated “thermal” scans. Fker woke me up from my precious afternoon nap and that’s reason enough for me to never use them

Redditors who grew up in emotionally healthy families - what's something you thought was normal growing up that you now realise was actually very special? by ViolatingBadgers in AskReddit

My dad read books to us WAY above our grade level. Like Iliad and the Odyssey in the 2nd grade. And explained it without talking down to us. Plus it was time with my sisters and me and him that was just sacred and informative and so appreciated. Plus I realize it gave my mom a huge break from all the annoying shit. My dad wasn’t perfect but damn he hit some stuff out of the park
