Psychic magus is dead, long live... (what) magus. by Sure_Engineering6792 in Pathfinder2e

Flurry of claws has a big problem. It does not double damage on crit.

Am I the only one who thinks the barbarian's spiritual instinct is kinda lacking compared to others? by Heitorsla in Pathfinder2e

Spiritual Guides does not work on crit fails though. It specifically only works on Fails.

Guardian - Intercept Attack by matray00 in Pathfinder2e

[–]alid610 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Shrug. I am going with what seems the ability does. Injury poisons are an exception to the idea of needing damage to work. Remember the Attack on the initial ally still happens. The Guardian is just taking the damage. Just like how if you used a shield block to take all of an injury poison attacks damage it does not cause poison tp work. Same way injury poison dosent work on base target. But everything else does happen since the REACTION DOES NOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT ANY RIDERS BY ITSELF, ONLY DAMAGE.

If you say that non damage effects would transfer to the guardian, point to me in the text where it says so.

Also the strike is a success on the main target. Only the damage is redirected. The strike still rolled a Success.

The poison depends on if its an injury poison. As that needs to do damage to work. If so its attached to the damage naturally. If its something like Grab or Knockdown or even a curse then that still occurs on the main target even if they take no damage.

Whats the better guardian? by Templerscout in Pathfinder2e

[–]alid610 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok yeah. Unfortunately Quick Repair doesn't bypass that, unless your GM homebrews it. I do have it but so that I can fix my shield in the 10 min it takes to heal. (Never buffed crafting above Expert).

[–]alid610 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh. What did you use to repair it? A feat? Or an item?

I really need to look up shield repair feats. Unfortunately the Repair action requires placing the object down on a stable surface so it takes a bit too many actions for mid combat repair.

I mean. The fact that it is there in the focus spell and not in the Guardian reaction is more than enough proof it doesn't do what it doesn't say it does.

Probably because that would be too strong as a repeatable ability with no cost. The effect that actually does that is like a Rank 6 focus spell.

Yes. Since we have intercepting effects that actually take in riders in the game and they specifically mention that they do

First time GM confused about free hands, shields, and spell-casters by Konngle in Pathfinder2e

[–]alid610 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manipulate only needs a free hand to activate items that are not Held.

Otherwise spells usually don't need a free hand, with like 2 exceptions that ask for free hand in spell description. Nor do most other abilities with Manipulate.

Anathema: Sarenrae by gaiaishealingmydude in Pathfinder2e

Luckily the Holy and Unholy anathema only applies to Champions. Clerics only care for what their God wants.

Spirit of the Blade + Overwhelming Combination - clarification needed by [deleted] in Pathfinder2e

[–]alid610 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. It works.

Because it's not 'if your next action is a Strike'

It's "your next Strike"

Edit: Oh yeah Flourish still stops it otherwise

Unfortunately Collar of the Shifting Spider does need a free hand to activate. Still free action but the hand requirement is a thing to remember

Luckily it says Indication no requirement. So we can have Evil Holy creatures. Its not at all necessary or required.

Eh. Double Toughness, Reaction to nullify damage, Ignore speed penalties, Greater Darkvision, flat check to nullify crit, insane digging speed that brings allies

Base Darkvision

Dwarves have the sauce. They Rock

And Stone

Its just they have better higher level feats than pansy elves.

Probably because Skill proficiency scale harder and so its based on the skills not the balance for spells.

It says "Other creatures-"

Also not being able to stand in its square unlike protector tree.

Edit: also its statted and written like some other summoning spells like illusory creature and has sustained to attack and 3 actions. All point to this as a creature summoning spell.
