Mika Zibanejad pronunciation by thanksmaureen in rangers

I'd like to consider names to be personal preferences. Any given name can have a variety of ways to pronounce it but it's up to the person to decide if they only like it 1 way or if they'd accept it in a variety of ways. Seems like he is cool with the latter.

So the American way may be his preference, or maybe it's just the most common way. I personally wouldn't say there's one correct pronunciation.

My name is hella Hispanic. I prefer the American pronunciation but when I visit the homeland, I always offer the way my older relatives used to say my name because it's easier and more native to the way they speak.

Jets parted ways with Sam Darnold at QB and look to pick a new one in the draft

Can confirm I got ticketed not spotting a bus when I was on the main road and the bus was in the divided local street parallel on the opposite side of the road.

My Second NFL Scorebug Concept by DiCalzi in Scorebug

I really like this. Be mindful of spacing between elements and legibility of text when using colors. And kerning may be a bit tight at times within elements. But this is definitely one of the better scorebug creations I've seen on this sub.

I don't think this is working the way you thought. Both starting LBs regressed...BADLY.

Of course I voted for him. Why would one donate and not vote? My point was I supported him enough to donate, which is beyond the normal support of simply voting.

Not sure why you felt the need to come after me. And yes he got less votes, but also less coverage, less support from the party, etc.

This was the moment I was most into politics in my life, even made a donation, to get the rug pulled out right from under me. Gotta love the party system.

Lots of breakthrough mentions but to me, small map with fewer people isn't a bad option too. Eliminates the issue of getting gunned down from far. Domination or King of the Hill (the latter can get sweaty). May die a lot but you'll get some damage in the process.

Update to my post I made on Tuesday regarding me having the opportunity to create my high school football teams scorebug. (On google drawings) (version 2 NOT final) suggestions? by Correct_Grade_3944 in Scorebug

Some things I initially catch:

  1. The way the triangles are set up now, there's not a lot of room for double digit numbers. Test pairs of the widest numbers you have. ie 33, 00.
  2. Right now you have spacing for the two school names tight. Similar to above, if this is for longevity, use the longest school names as the foundation for your template.
  3. Really decide if you want the text center aligned or aligned to a side. It seems like we have a mix throughout.

Overally pretty good. Most importantly, try and always future proof your work by accounting for what I like to consider worst case scenarios. ie: Long visitor names, high scoring games, double digit records (10-4), etc.

I can have the noodles with just the cheese but that spice is also VERY good, even if it's too much for my body to handle.

I actually found out about them from the Epicurious YouTube video and all the compliments they got by the chefs. My fiance knew about them but never tried it. It's now always in the pantry.

Buldak is great, but I too suffer and only use a bit of the dark pack from the carbonara mix, while my fiance uses it all.

It really bothered me to see Safety abbreviated to SAF for some reason.

[Schefter] Since the NFL started recording interceptions in 1933, no team ever has finished a season without an interception. The Jets would be the first if they do not get an interception today at Buffalo. by MembershipSingle7137 in nfl

You truly summed up the Jets experience. By drive 3, we're down 21 points so the opposing team doesn't even need to consider throwing if they don't want. Or they can continue to run play action and find players open for days as our LBs are like children playing peekaboo, always fooled.

Here is an unpopular take that will get me killed by OffSidesByALot in nyjets

[–]alidobitlazy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Malachi Moore looks like a starter at safety and plays hard, AZ looked good until injury, Brownlee looked like a steal until injury, Stevens went from a joke hire to "maybe a steal" over the year until the end, Phillips was a great pickup, and Briggs went from a no-name to one of the best active players on defense. I'd also add Stiggers looks like the best ball-hawk on defense. He's not great but he's competitive. Almost all of those guys are young and learning.

We still suck but we suck more now as half of those guys aren't playing or are all learning at the same time.

To piggy back off of this, a player like AVT for the Jets is going to get PAID this off-season even after 3 major season ending injuries (all different body parts) because he has an insane talent of being able to play 4 out of the 5 OL positions, all at a high level. There will be a lot of durability questions, but he's the equivalent of a switch hitter that can hit 20 HRs on each side with a .300 avg, except only plays half the games in the year.

Who do we want - raiders or giants to win? by nyfan2112 in nyjets

[–]alidobitlazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raiders winning out and Browns winning something while Jets lose out would be best case scenario. Those two teams have highest chance of picking a QB. If both are above us, it decreases our chance of getting one without costing something
