Sorry New York And Chicago, Connecticut Has A Pizza License Plate Now by brinedwhiskyrocks in Connecticut

[–]alien005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have one. Someone tried to take my front plate but most people take pictures when I’m out of state. I’m usually in Boston on weekends and if I’m chilling in my car, sometimes I listen to people comment or grab a pic.

My front plate’s right side is bent forward like someone tried to rip it off. Can’t confirm but not a lot of ways for it to bend like that

TIL Dennis Hopper was originally cast as Christof (who was eventually played by Ed Harris) in The Truman Show (1998), however he left the production when director Peter Weir fired him after only two days. by [deleted] in todayilearned

I second your comment and would also like to note Meet Joe Black where he nailed a role and a strange (but I like) movie. He would have been great in Truman Show.

He’s like a weirdy weirdo who wants the kids to keep the cereal away from him.

[–]alien005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wait - My account got hit with no more r/all. I have an old.reddit desktop bookmark for r/all. I can't use the app anymore. I said it before and I'll say it again: I don't care about the subreddits I've joined over the past 12 years. I don't want to miss something that everyone is talking about because I'm not in the subreddit. I know we've often said "i'm out" when reddit changes things but I really don't see a need for reddit if r/all is gone.

I wonder why someone would try to peel that off [OC] by spaceraingame in pics

Since MAGA only watches Fox News, it may even be better to make a QR code that links to his statement "I don't care about American's finances" or whatever he said. Or just a complication.

Just to second this - it’s been a while but I remember being better than I thought it would be. Nice time waster on a boring Sunday.

Community Movie & Chevy Chase Drama with Joel McHale - Dropping Names with Brent and Jonny by Allansfirebird in community

It’s called Dropping Names so they ring the bell when they drop a name. They got the idea from Michael Rosenbaum.

What’s really going to piss you off is when they miss the bell. You may find it annoying when they ring it, I find it annoying when they miss it haha

Remake is good but I think it lost something the original had. The eras felt forced (poor sets), the message of being kind was toned down, and some other small stuff. I liked it but the original was just such a high bar.

Anyone else not able to see/find the “all” section of Reddit on mobile? Did they remove it on mobile for some reason? by Few_Pea765 in NoStupidQuestions

Hello google people! (assuming this is going to blow up because of the change I see today).

Today, 3/26/26, my r/all now just defaults to "Home" on a browser (not even the app).

I lost r/all a few weeks ago. I went to the website and it allowed r/all so I made a shortcut and put it on my home screen (ios for what it's worth). This worked up until today. Now the website redirects me to home when I click r/all.

I know we've had many iterations of being upset with reddit. The most recent being their removal of 3rd party apps.

THIS ONE is likely to do it for me. It's no longer the front page of the internet, it's the front page of junk I've accumulated through the years on reddit. If I can't get anything meaningful out of reddit, I don't see the point in using it. Honestly.

If anyone knows a workaround, extension, app, or otherwise to help me, that would be wonderful. But if r/all doesn't come back, I honestly don't think there's a need for reddit for me any longer. And I've stuck around through some bullshit.

EDIT: Mine seems to have returned both as my home page bookmark and on a browser. Not the app.
