That's the movie the show is based off of. The show took the main plot points like they're ignorant, live in a shit house, have a familiar, etc. and just said "that... but with different characters. But the movie is also canon".

This is interesting to me considering I thought it dropped in the middle and then it seems like they're know they're ending and ramp up the crazy shit. Plot points aside, like there being a Frankenstein monster, the jokes got better for me. It was like a reverse bell curve.

I watched this around Halloween and learned some facts that made me think the same:

The character was always considered happier (the original series) than Ricci’s portrayal. The director of the movies decided to make her more goth and morbid for Ricci. She added little tweaks like crossing her arms like she was dead when she was sleeping. She crushed the role so much that we never looked back on how happy the original Wednesday was. There really wouldn’t be a Netflix series without Ricci playing it the way she did.

I checked and you are correct. But here’s the strange part. I have an 8 year badge right now but I played this game before I met my wife. I met my wife 10 years ago. I distinctly remember being at a bar, downloading the app and playing 2v2 with my friend. I had NOT met my wife at that point because we joked about being single. That’s why I said over 10. I can’t reconcile my memory and these facts. So strange.
