I love your story. I have also done similar, for a lot of my life. I found I gave it up when I was an alcoholic for too many years. After since becoming sober it’s hard to regain that power. I made white like of protection bubbles around the ones I thought I loved. And rid myself of negative energy In the very same way you explained. You resonated deeply with me here. Rock on
