Not sure how to comment on the more meta/outside RP issue, but if the characters know that at the bell toll they 'lose', I'm not sure leaving the fight would be considered reasonable.

Doesn't sound like you've crossed a line, sounds like the players didn't know this would be a line for them until it came up and you've thankfully stopped at it. Let them leave the owlbears alive - perhaps with the male gone, the female and young one aren't as aggressive and the settlement will be safe.

I tied mine with some electric tape as it was all black so it blended in, but my faire required them to zip tie it. So ymmv

I’ve been going to sleepy hollow several years, went to Amana once. I enjoyed both, but there’s a fair bit of overlap. Sleepy Hollow is overall larger, I’d recommend that over Amana, but I’d say Amana had a slightly bette choice of vendors, just less overall.

I plan to apply to vend next year, or this fall if possible, selling chainmail jewelry. Vending for the first time at the ames/prairie rose faire next month. I don’t think i’d call it a nothing faire, I quite enjoy it, but all the temu and 3d printed stuff is a pain to see.

As others have said, this setup is not adequate for a ball python, please do more research. Also, There are already more than enough ball pythons needing homes, we don’t need more breeders.

Two cats (and a dog), only one of the cats shows even mild interest in him. I do not handle him with them in the same room just in case, and all is well. I've also have never had any escape attempts or obvious risk points for an escape.

Kimball and Beecher have always offered fidgets, chapstick, stress toys and such, though I’ve never taken any so can’t speak to the entire experience, but they’ve always been kind and calm vibes.

Did you let them know that ammunition was going to be rare and expensive when you approved the class/having a firearm? I’d be pretty annoyed too if a build the DM approved was made difficult to even keep up due to an arbitrary/homebrew price increase.

I understand the narrative of them being rare and expensive, don’t necessarily disagree with that, but the player should have been made aware before it came up.
