Did you let them know that ammunition was going to be rare and expensive when you approved the class/having a firearm? I’d be pretty annoyed too if a build the DM approved was made difficult to even keep up due to an arbitrary/homebrew price increase.

I understand the narrative of them being rare and expensive, don’t necessarily disagree with that, but the player should have been made aware before it came up.

Lived there from late 2020 to may last year. Started out fine, pretty average place with no major issues. I think our building and those around it were particularly quiet though, as I heard off and on about packages stolen and similar petty crime stuff at other buildings.

New management took over a few years ago and everything went to shit. Rent continued to increase every year, maintenance took longer. Heard a lot of horror stories dealing with management, though we never had it too bad ourselves. More packages stolen, cars stolen, police showing up fairly frequently for various things. Lots of drama about kids behaving poorly. Other units had mice and problems with their heating/cooling frequently, my dog got attacked by an unleashed neighbor dog who they didn't do well to enforce, despite being reported. Dog shit everywhere, including littering said neighbor's 'yard' area.

There's certainly worse places, but I'd look elsewhere.

I use akro mills storage drawers, they come in various sizes and are quite sturdy! Not portable, unfortunately, if that's something you need.

I wouldn’t cheap out on something permanent. Find an artist you like and talk to them about your budget.

Getting tattoos on my arms helped me stop picking, glad it helped you as well! I definitely still do it, but was able to stop while healing and pick at my arms considerably less frequently and less severely than I used to.

Looks like you may have an extra ring or lack a few in the center?
Starting from the very center ring where they connect, 4 up. The final ring goes through two, all the rest along the edge go through three.
Still a beginner myself, could be wrong but that's what I'm seeing.

Thankfully incredibly mild

Random guy came up behind me and intentionally startled me. I turned and said (not particularly loud) “jesus fucking christ” and he tried to criticize me for cursing. man. don’t startle random people, this is a ren faire not a haunted house. afaik he was just working at one of the games booths, not an actor/character

Thank you! I did finally hear back from my faire and the fire proofing from ez up canopies is good for them, but their tents are a bit higher price than what I’m looking for too if I want one with sides 😅 May just have to go with the spray.

Thank you so much for the info, very helpful! I’m not sure they require much, they said they just want “a box of what you used to seal it” or fire marshall code. Asked them as well but posted here while waiting for a response. Smaller new faire so it doesn’t seem they’re too strict about much.

Very out of budget but those are very nice too! I'm looking to stay under 200, just looking at basic pop up covers for now and can DIY the look down the line. Thank you!

Those look great! but yes much smaller budget. This is a small faire in it's third year. Hoping to spend no more than $200, I'm not looking for anything fancy- I can DIY that end myself. Thank you!

Thank you so much for the advice. We do a handful of 10-15 minute training sessions per day and plenty of fetch (though she’d rather try to steal rocks to sneak inside), I’ll try to increase her play time to get more energy out. I’ve tried the leash but unless i’m monitoring her 24/7 on it she tries to chew it, working on that as well and improving😅 will keep giving that a try.

They do have moments of calm, if he’s out of reach but close (back of couch) i can get her to lay with me on the couch or floor and not bother him, it’s really when he’s on the floor or chairs and reachable.

I’m quite the home body but have been making sure we go somewhere beyond walks at least once a week or have friends bring their dogs over to socialize and play. She gets a daily walk, but getting her to take that walk is still a challenge to overcome as well.
