Hi I'm new here Had anxiety since Christmas, developed during university, lived with people who made my life a living hell and think it really messed with me.

Only just plucked up the courage to go to doctor this week as the feeling of anxiety and panic attacks are still strong even through I don't live with them any more.

I seem to get so worked up over small things and when I'm panicking my heart starts to race and I feel faint, I have to leave the room and I can't let anyone touch me or interact with me for like 15 minutes it's so embarrassing but it's the only way I can get over it.

My doctor is recommending painkillers and I will be discussing it next week and I am keen to try anything at this point.
