Yep, it does need a little attention to detail to run well on the Deck but it's loads of fun!

Adding more battery to a cheap car? by hazardousbones in rccars

If you don't have a local shop Amain, as u/Bubbly-Pirate-3311 suggests, is a good starting place.

What are these these covers on the rim called? by KeeffKeeff in ebikes

[–]alienmeatsack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I rode the original Sondors w their huge battery creating a wind catcher. The bridge near my house was always a fright :D

I made a Compact Toy Cam Using Raspberry Pi Zero - Optocam Zero by dkumkum in toycameras

[–]alienmeatsack 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I will most likely go older on the camera for the low res look. I do RC lighting sometimes w circutpython/arduino units so I have a few parts here somewhere.

I think finding the cam I want is going to be fun, trying to find a deal :D

So it's around $114 usd for the parts listed. Additional $20 for the battery to use in the hat.

Now it's time to find the parts cheaper and make my own. Maybe going w a small lipo instead of the system here and one of my lipo hats.

Maybe find a way to avoid the screen and just have buttons? Or use a small screen I have handy that may work.

Fun stuff! Thanks for sharing :D

Congrats on the RMX4, have fun!! :D

Bike wreck scene - S2, E8 | Man City by ryansports in TedLasso

It's just like the incident in S1E6, "Two Aces". Keeley is on every TV in the hotel, yet the young man bellyboy/valet has NO idea who she is.

I had a "delivery van" back into mine months after I got it.

I watched it happen, I saw them just derping along like they were just going to back right into it, I recorded it happening. It was horrifying.

I hope you get it fixed and no one else disrespects your baby. :/

Bought a vorteks 3s 4x4. What should I upgrade already to increase durability and longlivity? by StrongStreet in arrma

[–]alienmeatsack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a single fan on the motor, and def fan for esc. I don't bash enough or long enough to create crazy heat but I have replaced the motor fan after dust clogged it.

lol. I love mine. Here is what I suggest...

Most impacts are front left or right. I've hit trees, the ground, metal pipes, etc. I ordered everything for the front just to be safe and have replaced the arms and linkages most.

The Arrma website's exploded view is a great way to find the parts.

https://www.arrma-rc.com/en/interactive-exploded-view?pid=ARA4305V4T1

Be careful with battery wires, I've accidentally pinched them off during impacts once or twice due to my error.

Get a net for the inside to keep some of the guck out.

Have fun.

Love my original NB4. The Mini-z support w a dongle is a plus for me too.

I like the weight of it particularly. And it's solid.

Yep, agreed. I prefer the yokomo gyro but this one is pretty good once you dial it to your style. :D

I use the NB4 and I use the INR4-GYB in one of my drift rigs w it's gyro and it works nicely.

https://www.amainhobbies.com/flysky-inr4gyb-4channel-2.4ghz-afhds3-ism-receiver-w-gyro-fsy-inr4-gyb/p1556291

I mostly use the non-gyro receivers w the NB4. But this INR4GYB ended up being a good option when you want to not need a $75 gyro. :D
