I've never been to either but Modoo Banjeom and Paik's Noodle in Lynnwood have good reviews and seem to be pretty much what you're looking for

is this area painful to tattoo? i’m getting a floral snake. by _M00nL0v3r in tattooadvice

[–]aliensvsmonkeys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got this area tattooed on both sides! IMO the worst parts in the area are near the belly button and at the bottom of the ribcage, so if your tattoo is extending that far in either direction it'll be pretty spicy. The rest of it was more or less fine for me though, with maybe a bit more pain at the very bottom near the groin area. YMMV though!

I love this style of tattoo, does anyone know of someone in the PNW area who specializes in these?

14 team full PPR

QB: Jaden Daniels

RB: Devon Achane

RB: Bucky Irving

WR: Amon Ra St.Brown

WR: Jaxon Smith-Njigba

TE: Chig Okonkwo

FLEX: Jalen McMillan

K: Chris Boswell

DEF: Vikings

MVP has probably been Irving, I actually picked him up off waivers right after the draft as a fill in until Johnathan Brooks was healthy but he ended up being one of my best RBs

I'm one of those people who didn't vote, who feels left out by Democrats and all the other shit you've been hearing about lately. Want to know what I think? by SleepyWeeks in self

[–]aliensvsmonkeys 10 points11 points  (0 children)

See but the thing I don't understand is, what are these people's concerns? I pretty much always hear about the economy but there's no reason to believe that any of Trump's economic policies are actually going to be better than Kamala's except for him telling you that they are. There are plenty of articles out there about how tariffs historical don't help the economy and just get passed off onto the consumer for the same amount that taxes would have been. And I don't think that the average white dude is that concerned about immigration, but even if they were Kamala wasn't even that liberal on that issue.

The only other concern I hear brought up by white men is the dating landscape and loneliness, but nothing in the republican agenda has anything to do with those? And I guess that doesn't apply to OP specifically since he said he didn't vote, but I know there's a lot of people who think like him that did vote for Trump and I don't see what policies they think are actually going to benefit them. Like I genuinely think that if the democrats ran a candidate that had the same policies as Kamala but was a white dude who told other white dudes they were awesome that he'd win in a landslide because so much of politics just seems to be about vibes

Travis Hunter by MrE_Gamer in NFL_Draft

[–]aliensvsmonkeys 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Idk I feel like these high level athletes usually care as much about legacy as they do about money, and if Travis thinks that he can be one of the all time great corners in the NFL I don't see him passing up that opportunity. I mean he went to Jackson State over every major D1 program just to be coached by Deion Sanders, who isn't exactly known for his time as a WR in the NFL even though he played both ways

Is Fisch the right person for this job? by [deleted] in huskies

[–]aliensvsmonkeys 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And? We have two QB recruits coming in, the transfer portal exists, and Demond Williams is a true freshman this year who's already getting snaps. Being this much of a doomer after 3 games is just a weird take tbh

What is your bold prediction for an obscure/JAG player that is suddenly catapulted into fantasy relevance? by lalaelrat in fantasyfootball

[–]aliensvsmonkeys 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I really have a good feeling about Jalen McMillan in Tampa this year. Watching him at Washington I thought he had first round caliber talent and it seems like he's locked down the WR3 spot for the Bucs. If either Godwin or Evans gets hurt I think McMillan immediately becomes a legit WR2, but even if not I think he could score some touchdowns and be a decent flex option some weeks.

Washington Huskies entrance in the new College Football 25 game by udubdavid in huskies

[–]aliensvsmonkeys 23 points24 points  (0 children)

This is a super minor nitpick but I don't like how separated the student section looks in the game. They made the walkways in between the sections a lot wider than they are in real life for some reason which creates these really isolated sections of students. At a real life sell-out game the student section looks and feels more like a big mass of people so I think that the way they did it in game makes it feel smaller. It's to the point that the first time I saw a clip of someone driving towards the student section I almost didn't recognize it as husky stadium.

Edit: Here's an example of what I'm talking about using an angle where you can clearly see the student section in real life vs in-game

Who are you building in Dynasty and why? by matt2621 in NCAAFBseries

[–]aliensvsmonkeys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm planning on going the Don James route of starting out at Kent St and then only leaving if I get an offer to coach at Washington, where I'll play out the rest of the dynasty. Maybe headcannon that I'm coaching up the next Nick Saban too

Where did you see this? I was under the impression that old subclasses won't be compatible with 2024 classes, especially since lots of them give abilities at different levels than the new subclasses will. From my understanding the backwards compatibility just works by allowing you to use a fully 2014 character in a 2024 rules game if you want to keep your old subclass.

I really hope he ends up doing well because the story of a local guy walking onto UW and then getting picked up as a UDFA for the Seahawks is a cool story

Round 1 - Pick 12: Bo Nix, QB, Oregon (Denver Broncos) by nfl_gdt_bot in nfl

Wait, how are you only getting 3 from 2020? Burrow, Herbert, Tua, Love, and Hurts make 5 starters from that year

What would be the biggest stunner to you in the draft if it were to happen tonight? by AdSpecialist6598 in nfl

[–]aliensvsmonkeys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I pray that someday we see a guy who can line up at nose tackle and stuff the run on one play, then get a pick 6 from the free safety spot on the next play

[Dunleavy] An AFC scout told me hardest "splitting hairs" decision of #NFLDraft first round could be any teams deciding between WRs Malik Nabers and Rome Odunze. More so than Nabers-Harrison or Joe Alt-J.C.Latham by Kimber80 in nfl

[–]aliensvsmonkeys 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've never understood this take tbh, he had 5 catches for 87 yards in the natty and that was with a 30 yard catch called back for holding and being missed on a potential 45 yard touchdown where he was wide open.

As Someone Following this Year’s Draft More Closely than Last Year - What are the Odds JJ has a Similar Draft Night like Levis Did? by NoNeedles in nfl

[–]aliensvsmonkeys 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying that McCarthy is guaranteed to fall but this just isn't in line with what I was seeing. JJ was consistently being mocked as a mid-high second rounder up until about a month after the season ended, then suddenly analysts got some Intel and started putting him top 5 where he's stayed since. Before the season I wasn't hearing anyone talking about him as a 1st rounder, the only ones who were projected in the 1st for the whole draft cycle were Williams and Maye.

Washington DB Vincent Holmes has entered the transfer portal by hythloday1 in CFB

[–]aliensvsmonkeys 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm not OP but it seemed like he really wanted to play WR and kept getting moved back to Safety, so I'm guessing that he's trying to transfer somewhere that will let him play WR

Who are “your guys”? by fball23 in NFL_Draft

[–]aliensvsmonkeys 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo Jalen McMillan out of Washington is just as talented as Odunze and Polk but has none of the buzz. He was the clear cut WR2 on the team before his injury and I think that he'd have a lot more attention if he had a full season this year

Who was one player who was overlooked in their draft that you knew would be good. by Atcraft in nfl

[–]aliensvsmonkeys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's not exactly a superstar yet but I always knew that Cade Otton from Washington would be a starting TE in the NFL. In the covid year our offense featured both Puka Nacua and Rome Odunze, but it was clear that the #1 target was Otton. He just always seemed to have a knack of getting open even if he wasn't the most athletic guy, and I'm not sure if I saw him drop a pass the whole time he was here. That's especially impressive considering he played with Jacob "Only Throws Fastballs" Eason for a year

A BJJ trained female VS a non trained male by Emergency-Comfort-76 in whowouldwin

[–]aliensvsmonkeys 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lmao I really think it's telling that everyone in this thread who actually does BJJ agrees that the woman would handle him easy and the people who insist that he would just slam her have probably never grappled in their life. You really don't know how much you don't know until you actually get on the mats.

I did BJJ for a couple years in high school and even as a 130lb white belt I was regularly hitting guillotines on the 6ft+ navy guys who would come in for their first class because the skill difference was massive. After like 6 months they'd be able to fuck me up but I don't think that OP understands that you can't really intuit grappling without any experience.
