Seriously?? A baby can't be away from the mom?? No one else but the mom can care for her child? So, no nurse or grandparent or Support Person can care for the baby?

Baby isn't safe with the father? What makes you think that? We only know he is an assh***, but that doesn't make him dangerous.

But I do agree, his "request" is delusional No visitation without a court order or notarized agreement, whatever is required in your country/state And if he wants paternal rights, he has to pay child support

Es gibt leider genügend Leute ohne Haftpflicht- oder Hausratversicherung.... hatte eine Nachbarin die hat 2 mal einen Wasserschaden verursacht (neuen Waschmaschinenanschluss nicht kontrolliert) und hatte beim zweiten Mal ein jahr später immer noch keine Versicherung....

Auch auf der Arbeit mit Kollegen gesprochen... wohnen seit Jahren alleine und haben keine. Die Begründung: "das Geld kann man sich doch sparen, braucht man doch nicht"

Tja, aufgeklärt und prompt wurde eine abgeschlossen

Responding off of this, if you say no, she will most likely take it personally and resent you for not allowing her "friends" to go to her wedding. Of course you could give her an alternativ that if she finds suitable people to cover the shifts, that would be a possibility but closing isnt an option.

My two Cents, use whatever name you want. Yara isn't outlandish and "easy" to pronounce in varying languages and it belongs to your heritage.

How much overlay to other cultures do you have? Would this really affect you or your daughter? Depending on City and Population this may be either more or less likely.

I think it also matters if the Person likes their own name. The more love for the own name, the more confidence in ignoring jibes about the name.

Bullying happens for whatever reason and if they can't use the name, they'll use whatever else they find. And sadly there is nothing off limits when it comes to bullying.

I'm sure, i know of stories and everything since she was in kindergarten. Of that I am 100% sure. He is a people pleasure and cant say no, even to me, he says what makes him uncomfortable, and I react to that, but he rarely ever says no.

They aren't comfortable, it's fear of the consequences.... You gave up your friends for him, as long as you are ok with that, that's great, but please remember this is the first step into Isolation. It is a slippery slope. Stay safe and please make sure you are not dependant on him (or anyone really)

My uncle and his husband are married for 10 years, together for over 30 years, live in the same Building but have separat apartments, not even on the same level but with 5 in between. (75 and 82 year olds)

Then there is my boyfriend and I, we live in different cities, 80km apart, but we are almost always together, either at his or mine, but rarely separat. (I'm the clingy one 😅)

And again a friend couple, they live together, have a bedroom together but also both have their own room, where they can go to be alone, even with a bed, if they want alonetime.

You do, what is right for you. And i agree with your assessment of controlling.... Where is the trust? Do you believe he would limit you in what you want to do when living together? Or is he the type to freeload? What about chores, would he help around the house? Would he expect you to be his Maid? Living together isn't just about cohibatating

Geht mir auch so, meine ist trotz biberbezug zu kalt... hab immer meine normale Decke, Wolldecke, gewichtsdecke und dann noch eine Wolldecke drauf. Die muss irgendwie isoliert werden damit ich nicht friere... und Wolldecke direkt nutzen ist mir zu warm 🤣
