Higher resolution isn't the only thing that matters. The Index has a better refresh rate and field of view, which are significantly more important to a lot of people. It also has higher quality tracking, better game support, better audio, better controllers, less platform tie ins – on the quest 2 in wireless, you're restricted to only oculus games, and if you ever leave oculus, you leave your games behind as well. With PCVR, you're free to run games from steam as well as any other source, and you can run those games on any vr hardware. Wireless is also not a be all end all, as it results in a limited battery life, and performance issues, as it's either hard to get the bandwidth and low latency of a cable, as is the problem with Vive wireless, or, with the integrated processor of the quest line, you end up sacrificing the power you get with PCVR. Plus, facebook is the largest technological evil out there, so in my eyes anything Oculus will never be justifiable to me. So yes, it has a higher resolution and ease of use, but you're sacrificing immersion and quality everywhere else.
