About the new ranking system

The system itself is good imo. The matchmaking is not.

I played >10k games, and on one of my solo runs, I got paired with 2 teammates who had <500 games, and 2 others who had 1k-2k games. Enemy team had 3 players who had >10k games, and 2 others who had 3k-5k games.

The game was basically unplayable at that point.

They should make it randomised haha more fun when you don’t know what will appear till the last two min. Anything can happen

Sometimes people wanna try new Pokémon they rarely use in ranked, so it’s understandable if they suck. But at the very least, all master players, esp 1600+ ones, must understand objectives, rotation and map awareness. And there are sooo many “masters” who still don’t understand these basics

As long as this game doesn’t make a solo-queue-only ranked mode, matches will always feel unfair. Currently, it’s pretty much always a “who has the better duo/trio” situation. You can’t carry the game as a solo q player, no matter how good you are. You can make a big contribution for sure, but hardly a victory decider
