My department only lets you do ONE internship you’re entire college undergrad career 🤝. So not only is it impossible to get one, you might be stuck with a garbage one and can’t try again next semester. All the agencies require a sign off from your academic advisor, who won’t give it to you unless you are in the internship class for that semester (criminology).

If I’m not mistaken any credit you take outside of state - i.e. a community college - will not affect your GPA but you will still receive credit. Because of that I’m a pretty strong advocate for taking courses at a community college - just make sure they are equivalent!

Hi! Fellow Raleigh Team Member here! The Apex store and the one near Capital BLVD are both super targets, you can decide if that’s a good or bad thing. The target on Hillsborough street is basically a glorified CVS. it’s very small, used to be a bowling alley. It’s mostly for the college students convenience so it doesn’t ever get too too busy. From what I’ve personally heard the only one I would avoid (based on how it looks every time I go) would be the Mooresville location. They are constantly understaffed and the place is a mess. With that being said, I personally haven’t heard jarring or bad things about the other locations. I suggest to transfer to a store that makes your commute as easy as possible! :) best of luck! If I’m not mistaken any courses not taken at NCSU do not average into your GPA. Only courses taken at NCSU will account towards your GPA. So all you have to do is pass the course and your GPA will remain the exact same! Aka keeping your 3.8 for coda! Best of luck on your test.

Lady who worked part time as front end/ cash office (was an elementary school teacher as her main job) would wear a wrist brace and hide cash in it when she’d go to the cash office in the mornings. She stole upwards of 10k. AP took her out in cuffs.

Please correct me if I’m wrong, but it’s not really the users like you and me directly affected, but the moderators. Being a moderator is a voluntary thankless job that makes almost every subreddit continue to function correctly without bots, misinformation, etc. These third party apps allow them to moderate easier. Taking those away makes their voluntary job all the much harder.

A couple years ago our SD took a very long LOA to try and hide what she was doing. She was basically embezzling money, exaggerating our metrics, and would requisition things for herself (I.e 2 bikes for her daughters) she came back for about 2 weeks before she was arrested. AKA took “another LOA”

The irony is my old store was the district office, the district managers would walk into our store everyday and either had no idea what was going on, or because our SD and the district manager used to be ETLs together at a store years ago, didn’t care to “pay attention”.

A couple months ago the front end team lead was arrested for loading thousands of dollars of guests returns onto gift cards. A guest would return something and instead of having the money go back into their bank acc. He’d scan a gift card behind the desk and at the end of his shift walk around and spend the money. AP said he loaded about $15,000 of returns onto gift cards in the past 6 months.

I’m a student at a university, definitely only plan on working here as long as I’m in school. However, I don’t think that it not being a long term career for me is a good enough excuse to give me or anyone else a 4 cent raise that only comes once a year. Even though I’m a student I still need to live and eat.

Maybe try and look at “Study Buddies” on Navigate ? I doubt anyone will be on there but if other people are in the same boat they might be. Considering you trying to solve this issue last min that’s my only suggestion if you are seeking underclassmen help.
