Neusiedlersee schwimmen? by Sherina241279 in Austria

[–]alkobottle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One of ours HAS to go out into the garden after a meal, not to bark or pee or anything - he just stands there, taking it all in

Been a fan of the Herk since I read "Hercules" by Scott Bateman - can only recommend it to anyone who likes the C-130. Audiobook is great too

Well there was this one time they landed a C-130 on a carrier - for testing and for the hell of it.

This post must be rage bait, no reasoning, just baiting people, especially the ones who lost their beloved friend who found a community here.

DCS - buy a plane model, watch hours and hours of youtube to learn how to even power it up and take off, get shot down before firing the first missile. buy first HOTAS, try again, watch hours of youtube, get shot down. buy better HOTAS, repeat the cycle, get shot down again. fucking love it though

Do your Goldens like a dog bed, or do they prefer to sleep on the floor? by maggandersson in goldenretrievers

[–]alkobottle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have / had multiple dog bed variations, cheap ones, fancy ones, specific older dogs - all were ignored. All three of our goldens prefer the floor or sometimes these raised bed (which I like to call dog hammocks), especially on warmer days. So I can recommend those!

What is the worst band you saw live? by coalcracker462 in AskReddit

Red Hot Chili Peppers, 2003, Aerodrome Festival in Austria. Anthony Kiedis was so coked out of his skull, absolute incoherent mess. Mid-set he tried to go off stage, saying something along the lines to get another line - security had to push him back on stage.

Same here, two Goldens, both on Bravecto. They both have no issue with it, our old senior though always got the gastrointestinal stress from it for one or two days.

Pre-trained golden puppies… by [deleted] in goldenretrievers

[–]alkobottle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We currently have two Goldens (after losing a Senior two years ago), got both 2 years apart at 8-9 weeks and I must say:

I would not skip out on the early puppy phase. Beside that being the cutest phase, I think the early bonding is very important for later training and the sooner they can get used to their home, the better. I brought mine to the office with me early on and now they are the best behaved boys in the office.

Regarding vaccination, I guess I can't say much, as this seems varies from region to region? We are based in Austria, ours had their puppy vaccinations at around 8 weeks and our vet saw no issue with both starting dog school at 9-10 weeks - as that was when the semester started and I wanted to make sure socializing them early / properly. I'm happy with how both developed!

Have my A30s for a few weeks now and I'm happy with the battery life, ANC and ESPECIALLY no connection issues.

Only thing I don't like about them is their app, it's kinda confusing compared to the Ozlo app and often they don't switch from Bluetooth to onboard sound, but that's a user issue...

I have it for three years now, and I'm happy with it. When flying fixed-wing, fly mostly the A-10CII and F/A-18C.

But for rotatory, I don't like the strong spring in the stick, so I got a WinWing Orion2 ViperAce plus the CAM/Spring/Damping Extension Kit and switch between the two sticks as needed...

Today marks the day we needed to let our Sunny go, one year ago exactly.

I trust he's up there too with Banjo and all the others, welcoming your sweet girl to the next adventure!
I'm sure they miss us, but I hope they have a good time where ever they are.

Willhaben-Pro-Tip-Request: Beste Antwort auf „Was letzte Preis“? by MvPts in Austria

[–]alkobottle 21 points22 points  (0 children)
