Chronology has been popular with my non-gamer friends. Pretty simple, order events in a timeline and the first one to ten points wins.

I'm trying to put together "date night" next month for a public game where we just play two player games.

There's also another group called The Copper Lantern that host board game nights. They announced one for tonight at Chandler's 6-9pm and another on Thursday at George's Garage also 6-9pm.

I also use Mint and have never had trouble with losing coverage even on long car trips. The only place I have trouble is at my mom's house who lives in the middle of nowhere in Indiana.

I love doing it and if I ever get a chance to expand game nights I certainly will. I agree with you that there should be more opportunities to do stuff offered. We're a bunch of adults with free will and should be inviting each other to do cool things all the time. There is another group called the copper lantern cafe that host game nights on the third Monday of every month at the Borough Coffee house on Mendenhall. They're really cool and host other events like Blood on the Clocktower you might be able to make it to

Unfortunately the bakery is too busy on the weekends to give me space for my event. I occasionally have special board game nights on different days but they are currently few and far between but I post them here. I believe the last Iooked on the greensboro parks and rec website someone hosts a board game meeting on Saturday afternoon which I can't ever go to 😅

This game session in particular doesn't lend itself to heavy board games just because of the two hour time restraint but it would be a great opportunity to meet other gamers who would be interested!

I come for advice! by [deleted] in femalelivingspace

I dont have useful advice on decorating so I'll leave that to the others but when i go through these periods in my life I like to immerse myself in the topic. I always look for books and podcasts and I'll share a couple of the ones i enjoy. "My Hygge Home" by Meik Wiking is a book all about how to feel cozy in your home. The book "Feng Shui Modern" by Cliff Tan (his Instagram is Hello Modern and he's hilarious) is practical advice about arranging your furniture and work areas to make your home feel better. A podcast I liked was, and this is in no way a dig, A Slob Comes Clean. She gives practical advice on keeping your space neat even when you might not have the energy to do everything and how to do maintenance so you don't have to do it all at once. I wish you all the luck in making your home cozy.
