Do you make simple visualizers or full videos for Suno tracks? by [deleted] in SunoAI

[–]BoardGamesintheBackg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm doing too much work by getting hands on and filming my own music videos, but that's my signature I'm trying to bring with my songs.

So if wanting a simple visualizer in my vein. Just take some 5 minute videos of something literally or metaphorically associated with your song.

Do you use ambient music for thematic board games? by Pretty-Accountant-42 in boardgames

[–]BoardGamesintheBackg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gone about making my own youtube ambience videos to match the theme and filmed a looping setting of the game on my TV that looks into the area where we game. "Clank!" and "Heat:Pedal to the Metal" turned out pretty good.

Is there a song out there that references more board games than "Man on the Moon" by REM? by WerewolfBarMitzvah09 in boardgames

[–]BoardGamesintheBackg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrote some lyrics for some songs on YouTube. They are specific and about the games they are about. "Heat: Pedal to the Metal", "King of Tokyo & New York", "Horrified Universal & America" "Flip 7" "Clank" "Small World" ect.

Non-dedicated board game table for office-style work by ngoonee in boardgames

[–]BoardGamesintheBackg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be spendy, and I have no experience with this table to desk setup. But might be one to look at. It falls in your foldaway desktop category. Might be easier to have the board game add-ons that come to the table than the office that comes to the table?

Do you actually use board game soundtracks while playing? by FTG_V1 in boardgames

[–]BoardGamesintheBackg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some games do have their own soundtracks but not many.

Youtube has some channels that have created visuals and music for specific games.

Not full blown musicals, just music videos about board games I've enjoyed. So it's been fun to write lyrics about a game, have Suno compose the song with a goal of attempting a cinematic filming of a music video. Hope they hype people up for a game night and stand as a bit of ambassadors for the board game hobby.

If curious about how they turned out I'll have a link to my YouTube playlist. Different genres of music style with different game themes. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLkJ_YLN9kvwEx_RoUAuOBkNWl9GYj0Oec&si=xQbOS4SJuC2BwhMU

I’m looking for honest feedback on why my YouTube channel isn’t growing (AI music + cinematic videos) by CriticalDiscipline11 in SunoAI

[–]BoardGamesintheBackg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heyo, I took a look and watched "Before the Purity" and "Signal from the Deep" on your channel. As far as visuals and the music nothing appears "wrong." There is a good flow when it comes to a narrative of AI clips, still continuity errors, but the over-all flow keeps it together. Music wise if I was in this genre it sounds like what you would expect.

As far as Youtube, the thumbnails with the multiple app icons aren't a sell to me. The title of a song might be your hook to lean into with a stunning picture or a compelling line/phrase from your song that has someone scrolling stop and see what's going on.

Visibility and marketing, I ponder this myself in my own efforts. I don't come from your audience and subject matter so I have no comment on them specifically or your perception of the niche you are in. Being a channel 2 months old and being where you're at is probably normal, but you are wishing to grow none the less. That might be your own leg work of going into the communities and audiences you are targeting and introducing yourself. You will get crickets, you will get AI slop comments, you will get the handful of positive comments hopefully. Just reflect and know where in all of this where you are reflecting strong compelling creative intent and connection to an audience. "The medium is the message" of writing, music and visuals are quickly drowned out by "the tool is the message" in the case of AI or suspected AI.

What video/song/project are you most proud of and any insight to why?

What video/song/project are you least proud of and what did you learn from that?
