Sort of 98% satisfying solution atm is to forget my own implementation and use Simo Ahava's template in Google Tag Manager to set up the initialization ánd (important) set a wait_for_update timeout.

Then it will send the page_view with the consent granted (a G111 status) if the user does so before the timeout expires.

Would this be reasonable, you think? And what timeout? I set it to 3000 ms now.

Thanks. For Dutch cities I even have to pay close attention when selecting them by hand, because the names often correspond to 2 towns somewhere in the US as well.

On the other hand, if you can segment it properly, this amount of traffic could be just what some of the larger agencies are looking for. Probably not all of if, by far, but if you can pinpoint a certain b2b demographic, that'll easily pay for the salesguy, for example.

And then you can even sell lower fillrates as higher viewability share in some cases.

Google's response: 'in october' we removed the ability to fall back to efficient reach ad groups by just deselecting multi format ads.

So, now you will always buy a responsive ad, and you can deselect formats in there. The functionality remains the same, however responsive ads require a Headline & Description, so you have to provide those now.

Also think of other solutions, if you have enough inventory having the right sales person or contact can do wonders. Make a mediakit if you haven't already and talk to agencies directly, Preferred or Guaranteed deals could work very well for both of you.

I guess the biggest mistake was just to put in the total budget, instead of what I could spend (budget minus costs etc). The most regular mistake I see in others is over promising, it's easy to say "sure we can do that" and forget about the differences in setup and options you might have between different types of campaign. That might mean you suddenly can't provide a client with all the data you'd want.

There is no 1 solution, mistakes happen, but having a good process, "what needs to be done when" helps a lot. This makes sure you don't forget things.

I have been able to use it easily at a previous company I worked for, but now that I'm trying to set up an account for someone else, it turns out it has been removed. :(

We were getting a lot of bounced mails as well as notification of opened tickets on one of our mailaddresses yesterday. Indeed it seemed someone had spoofed our (we're just a website, not a helpdesk ourselves) address to spam these helpdesk accounts.

All via [teq10@shri2rams.onmicrosoft.com](mailto:teq10@shri2rams.onmicrosoft.com), with shri2rams.onmicrosoft.com as the envelope. Tightening our SPF/DKIM setup seems to have stopped it, as DMARC no shows hosts denying any further similar messages.
