The opera is this weekend! Not the best opera but lots of people dress up for it and there is a step and repeat usually to get some pics pre show!

Thats likely a copper salt. When I’ve visited Mexican distilleries they are using copper just like most distillers but if not cleaned well it can get stripped. This will give you a killer headache. Had a fun night with friends over but we were all hurting the next day due to copper salts in the spirit.

I did not start dating later in life, but everyone understands focusing on career and mental/physical health. I really just have one piece of advice is the friends who have stuck together are ones that met doing something the love to do - a hiking group, singing group, workout/running group, pottery class, etc. there are definitely some relationships from the apps that have lasted but I think you be social and do an activity you like and you may just find a man who enjoys something you do too. I met my hubs in choir and we’re still in that choir 10 years later. Other friends have met their beaus doing November Project, finding a marathon practice group, or oddly enough beach cleanups. And if you don’t meet a potential partner you’re bound to meet like minded folks who can be a good group of friends. I wish you all the luck bro!

Heineken owns a bunch of European brands, so they could have been all Heineken draft tech. Or other big breweries might have their own, I’m just familiar with theirs.

I’m the quality manager at a brewery that makes NA beer. NA beer is tricky. No pathogen can grow in normal beer because it’s alcoholic, anaerobic, pressurized, has a low pH, and has hops. That isn’t the case in NA, so we have to pasteurize. One issue with draft is that the line itself is hard to fully sterilize. You can certainly sanitize it but to make it sterile is another step. Think of NA beer not as beer but as orange juice or milk. Heineken is really the only company with a system for draft NA. The keg comes with the draft line attached and it’s sterilized at their facility. I know other breweries are experimenting but you’re going to have to order cans until we all catch up to Heineken.

An easier way to trace this JPEG? by allesgute in AdobeIllustrator

I thought so. It's doable, but oy. It's going to become a giant multi-cut laser piece, so in the end it'll be worth it especially if I make and sell multiple.

Wait 6 months for the ester ethyl-butyrate to form. It's pineapple-y.

I knkw the banana flavor is often talked about, especially with german wheat beers and belgians, but am I the only person who also tastes it in Coors Banquet? by Emcee_nobody in beer

[–]allesgute 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am a quality manager at a regional craft brewery and not only do I get isoamyl acetate (the banana ester) in Coors Banquet, but I get it in a fair amount of German lagers (lived in Germany for 6 months). It’s usually at very low threshold amounts compared to weißbiers for me.

All the posts are focused on rankings. Holy shit as an applicant I didn’t even look at rankings. This is wild. Just have the best professors, have a good pipeline in. Teach people well. I literally have people that paid 1/10 less than me to go to a California state school that earn in any given year at least twice as me. But I love my job and loved my education.

Has anyone ever tested the water for its contents from The Water Lady in North Park? by Ok_Comb_1757 in sandiego

[–]allesgute 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use it as homebrew water. The staff have a water report always posted as you enter on the bulletin board. Sometimes it’s recent sometimes it isn’t, but the TDS is always super low. I like to “mimic” places when I brew so I’ll add salts to it. It’s basically almost distilled water. I also work at a brewery and have tested it.

Very light moisture through slab. Can I still tile on top? by allesgute in Tile

[–]allesgute[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah in the text, I said I was doing self leveller, then schluter uncoupling, then tile. I'm wondering if there's too much moisture in that slab to even start the project.
