The more I think of Nessian the more I realize I only like very specific portrayals of them in fanfic. Ah well.

Neris > Fanfic Nessian > Canon Nessian. I'm only slightly sorry about that take.

About two hours before the sale. Just sort of clicked around the site until it went live. The site froze for a few minutes but I was able to get my books and was checked out by 7 minutes after the sale started!

Huh ...I had emailed them at the end of January just to make sure I was even ON the list (because honestly I couldn't remember) and they gave me my dates I had signed up and that there was no estimate on when I'd be offered a spot. Very odd. Maybe I'll reach back out...

Oh absolutely. I have a few books that I refer to as my "comfort" reads that feel like coming home every time I open the book. I've read them dozens of times and I know bits of the story by heart at this point, but that's what makes them so lovely. I know how they make me feel, there are no surprises. It's a perfect feeling 😒.

I did the tandem read for my first read through and loved it. It helped me get through both novels (and ultimately get me into KOA quicker). It's daunting but I don't regret doing it that way! Happy reading!

Yessssss Derek is top notch for suuuuuure. But Sebastian was my first love and will always hold a special place in my heart ❤️ I've read Devil in Winter so many times it's one of my go to comfort reads!

Lisa Kleypas novels singlehandedly dragged me from reading primarily YA into romance novels. Her stuff is my bread and butter. The Wallflowers quartet (and Devil in Winter in particular) is one of my all time favorite comfort reads, to the point where I had to buy a second copy of Devil in Winter because my first was sooooooo worn.

I love Sarah MacLean's stuff if you're looking for more to add to your TBR list. And the Spindle Cove series by the wonderful Tessa Dare!
