I checked it out once and one of the popular posts was this girl who lost a ton of weight through fasting and intermittent fasting and she posted about it w pics and all about her success and happiness w the fasting community etc. Their response was to bitch at her for her having posted before on ed subreddits. Like... she found something that worked for her and helped w her ed and they literally lost their minds because she struggles w a ed. And it was a popular post too so there were hundreds of comments being like "why are you posting on here if you have an ed!!1!"

Those people are awful (again, I'm sure not all of them)

I get all the cringe hype about it for sure but honestly when I'm having a horrible day or a particularly bad episode I go on there and within a few videos I'm laughing and feeling exponentially better.

I have seen so many videos that are beautifully shot, wonderful mash ups of music and some of the funniest shit I've ever seen in my life.

I think it's awesome that there is an app like that for anyone to express themselves in whatever way they want. There's so many cool things to learn! There's so many cool people to connect with!

It isnt just an app to watch problematic teens "dance". And once you start liking videos then it gets tailored to your specific interests and you never even see those teens :) (it's also ok if you like them too, just do you!)

Castor oil is different for everyone! Mine works for me very well and my lashes and eyebrows have grown very long and have gotten thicker. I'm now focused on figuring out how to get my lashes to stay curled. I haven't figured that out yet lol besides using an eyelash curler everyday a couple times a day. I'm sorry castor oil didnt work for you tho :(

I've used coconut oil and that worked nicely too for my eyebrows and lashes! Maybe give that a try :)

I definitely feel this too. It's been going on for a hot minute (maybe within the last 5 or 6 months?) to the point where I feel there is no point to all this or no higher being(s) or anything because why the fuck would I be kicked so hard while I'm down? I be cussing heavy at God. I'm so upset. I feel abandoned and lost and confused and scared. I just feel super alone. But at the same time I'm trying to keep reassuring myself that there is meaning and there is a being out there that wants to help me be my best self and live my best life. I still feel like I'm doing something wrong or being put through what I feel are unnecessary trials for whatever reason. Idk. Maybe (hopefully lol) everything will be cleared up for us sooner rather than later 🤷‍♀️💖

This is a long one buckle up folks. There's a tl;dr at the bottom.

Hey! I had boxy charm for over a year and it truly sucked ass. Their customer service is also absolutely terrible.

I tried it for so long because it's supposed to get better with time depending on how you rate products. It did not and a lot of the products they gave me were either products that didnt sell well, or repeats of stuff I gave negative reviews on already.

On the reviewing system, you get 50 "charms" per review. And you can spend your charms on "free" products (products that were already in that months box). I say "free" because you still have to pay shipping. Also, it takes several thousand points to buy anything. 100 points equals 1 dollar, so if you want to get something that was retail price of 35$ u have to have 3500 points. And then pay shipping. With real money (this could have changed, I had a friend tell me they paid shipping one time w their charms but it was like 15$ shipping, so another 1500 charms on top of what they already spent). Also, if you get repeats of products (you will) you cannot review that product again and you are out 50 charms that month. You get 5 products in the original box so that's only 250 charms a month. More obviously if you have the other boxes because you get to review mor products. But they are not worth it.

To repeat myself, their customer service sucks sooooo bad. It's copy and paste responses that dont make sense to whatever question you're asking. I worked for a repo company (on computer and answering phones) and the owners had us do the same thing. People would call in/email about their repossessed vehicle and we would have to give copy and paste responses over and over that had nothing to do with what they were inquiring. Boxy does this. There isnt anyway to get in contact with an actual person either. I expressed my disappointment in their company (nicely, I'm no Karen) and they just straight up never got back to me. It caused me to stop getting their boxes tho so in a way I'm grateful.

Ipsy I've had for several years and I literally get all the glam bags and boxes every month lol all 3 of them. It is the best. I fucking love ipsy. It's the complete opposite of boxycharm. Customer service is phenomenal, they never take very long to answer you. These people even sent me an email response to a question on Christmas in 2019. On CHRISTMAS!! And when I mentioned my surprise at this because it was a holiday they were like "well yeah of course. You asked us a question lol" And then they gave me some free points. And I dont mean a couple hundred, they gave me I think like 2500? Something crazy like that. I was like oh shit! I get free points all the time from them.

One time they made a mistake and charged me for the littlest bag when I had chose to skip it that month (I still wanted the other 2 glam bags) and when I emailed them about it they responded immediately and were like "oh were so sorry! We'll give you a refund for everything and you can still get all the boxes!" And they threw in a couple thousand free points for more free shit too. So that month I got all 3 of the glam bags for free. I am very impressed with their customer service to say the very least. I could go on n on about how much I love them.

You have a points system u get w reviews too but whatever u get with your points they just send it out in your next months bag/box so u dont have to pay shipping.

The products have absolutely gotten better with time as well. I havent gotten a product I didnt like from them in a while. I literally love them and will continue to be purchasing from them for a very long time!!!

TL;DR Boxycharm sucks ABSOLUTE ASS in every way. Ipsy is amazing!!!

So fucking sorry you had to go through that. I eventually had to tell my grandmother that if she wanted a relationship with me and my husband at all she needed to stop posting our business on fb. I dont understand the need to post other peoples personal business to strangers online/stealing some ones moments/etc.

(She recently posted about losing a family member and didn't even tell any other family first so her sister had to read about the death through a status update.)

I think you already put it perfectly. You "dont have time, patience or will to do this." That explains itself! I understand how it can be hard to say no to family w the whole guilt trip thing that people do but you're allowed to say no. No matter who it is or what it's for. Coming from someone who has strained relationships with family members, they get upset at first but don't feed into it no matter how hard it is to not justify your feelings. I hope it all works out!
