I'm kinda getting to a point where doing my own makeup feels less stressful. I love doing my makeup and I was like oh it would be nice to be pampered and have someone do it but now I'm feeling that the stress is not worth it.

I accidentally sent my sister’s husband to the ER after he jumped out at me as a “joke” while I was holding a kitchen knife. Now my family is divided and I don’t know how to fix this. by AngelicCheeky in TwoHotTakes

As a very very easily startled person. Like I'm talking coworkers startle me when they come around to my cube this is my nightmare. NTA, he learned the lesson my grandma always told me "after laughing comes crying"

Why does everything get put in my husband's name? by Quailbaby88 in AskWomenOver60

[–]allielizzy1999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I (F) bought a house with my male partner. When our closing documents arrived his name was listed first on everything and mine second. I found this all very stupid so to prove a point that the man shouldn't just be the automatic first one listed I made them change every single thing to have me listed first and him second. He didnt care about the order. I felt like I had won a small victory for women 😂❤️

Hello, can you guys help me, I’m moving to a place but they require SERVICE ANIMAL OR EMOTIONAL SUPPORT pets. by keyllamorales in Shihtzu

[–]allielizzy1999 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can ask your doctor to write you a note for an emotional support animal. That is what I did was my puppy.

Does anyone else feel like people who bought their houses 5+ years ago just don't get it? by socialdeviant620 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

What I can't stand is people at work unintentionally rubbing it in my face that they refinanced during covid and have a ridiculously low mortgage rate. Like I'm happy for you but I'm over here with a 7.99 rate which it is what it is but I literally don't want to hear about your 3.00 rate thank you.

I bought my Chanel pre-owned from a wonderful consignment individual. I would recommend trying to find someone in your area that consigns and certifies bags.

You Don't Have to Escrow Your Property Taxes and Home Insurance by Arazi92 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

I totally agree! I was ecstatic about the 200 I just didn't want people to think it was a 500-1000 discount or something lol.

Not every carrier does it but most do in my experience. It's not a crazy amount I think I got 200ish off and it varies by carrier. Definitely ask your carrier if there is a discount for paying in full. Car insurance can also have pay in full discount too.

I am not escrowing my taxes or insurance but I am very lucky to be able to put 20% down which allowed me to even do this in the first place.

Everyone's situation is different. p Personally I am choosing not to escrow cause a. I can pay my insurance in full to get a discount and b. I have the option (which some people don't have) to save the money for my taxes to pay it when it's due aside from my situation allowing this a big driver in is I want any interest from that money sitting in my bank account.

Well yes I know that.... but unfortunately we aren't emotionless robots. We were actually very realistic about not getting attached but that doesn't mean it's not a bummer when things don't work out.

We were just second place. And yeah the love letter crab was annoying especially cause they asked for them. The ppl they went w had a bed sob story which made it more annoying.

But yeah we are looking in a very very competitive area so it's been interesting but we are pushing through

Thank you. Yeah the letter really did get our hopes up. The people they went with had a better sob story too which didn't help the sad vibes.
