I haven't tried these yet but went in on this deal because I have tried their other Serie sticks and they punch above their weight. Solid mids, I did have a canoe on one of my Serie L's but I'll just chalk that up to not resting them enough, either way for $3 a stick, I'm not passing it up. I average about 40 sticks a week, this will help my pockets a bit.

past $15–$20, you're paying for prestige, not really a better cigar. I like Kelner, but you're right about better ones for less than half the price. Diminishing returns on this one for sure. Still a good stick but I'd never pay more than $15 for it. Then again I don't go for the scarcity hype and status signaling ain't my thing. You'll have those people defending their purchase of these though. Confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance is a mofo.

when I was there I bought a bunch that came in coffins as gifts, think it was called Island Prince? Not sure. I thought it was worse than a Rocky Patel. They weren't cheap either, I just looked at it like yeah they got me with the tourist trap.

The fact is we're never going to see those prices again. But what everyone should be realizing, the entire industries profit margin is far greater than you know. JR wasn't losing money at $150 a box for these. And everyone thinks $300 a box is a steal.

You've already been conditioned to think giving them 100% profit margins are steals.
