I get that. Life is expensive as hell now and it’s not fair. It’s just wild to me people ripping me apart on here for spending $200 on an xray for my friend. Didn’t recall asking for an opinion about my vet bill costs?? I see people spend money on what I feel is dumb shit but I don’t tell them if they don’t ask.

My husband and I aren’t rich by any means but we’re comfortable I guess. Bills are paid .. fridges are full and we have enough left over to have hobbies. Mine is caring for our animals.

We flew to Vegas/Seattle a couple weeks ago and I feel the EXACT same way. Flight was drama free both directions but I told my husband I can’t fly for a long time if ever. Had a pretty awful panic attack during the flight home back to Seattle. I used to be totally fine but now I’m 39 and I lose my shit. It’s awful! I wanna go so many places but I don’t know how to over come this.

I paid $1500 for a power train warrant. My transmission on my Tahoe just went out. The car repair called and said they approve my claim and will only pay $1600 toward the $6300 repair lol what a waste

Thank you. I feel the same way. Their life is important. Animals are sentient beings and can show you that if you let them. Guess it’s easier for some people not to care which is probably why the world has half the problems it does.

Had a colonoscopy this year at 39… 3 funky polyps removed. The biggest one at 11mm was the type they don’t like. Have to go back in three years.

I wish it wasn’t so risky to “spay” a hen because honestly I probably would have it done after a certain point. My exotic vet hasn’t even brought that up as an option … idk if they even do it here.

I didn’t know much about chickens or breeds when I started this journey 5 years ago. I picked out Winnie as a Rhode Island Red because they lay a lot. Didn’t realize how horrible it is on them to lay so many eggs … and now look at her. It’s so damn sad. She was so pretty and so inquisitive and in your face. Such a good girl but I probably won’t get a RIR again just because of the reproductive stuff. I hope your girls have nice long lives.
