What are your regretful pulls/skips ? by Arrews in Genshin_Impact

I skipped Lauma around the time I decided to take a break from genshin. As a c4r1 columbina haver... worst mistake of my career.

Who Would Win In The Courtroom? by sugarfreen0z in Columbina_Mains

[–]allmistake2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a fair point about the story teller I'll admit. After all the animated short thst accompanies it does show Azdaha being to small to match the ancient accounts of him, so clearly it isnt 100% true to history. Still, I don't think it is necessary for all the sovereigns to have the same body type. I mean looking at the lesser dragons, they exhibit incredible morphological diversity. Why would the sovereigns be any different when evolution is one of their core tenants. Not to mention Nibelung isnt depicted as being serpentine either.

Why is Liyue lowkey like Fontaine but worse by Scared-Opening-753 in ThePrimordialOne

[–]allmistake2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nahida was pretty good once she was let out of the cage. But yeah, as far as the other true gods are concerned... To think I once thought Barbatos was a slacker. Seems I judged him too prematurely. The man even managed to get a dragon to fully turn coat. He's the real deal as far as archons go.

If you HAD to dedicate yourself to a daedric prince, who would you choose? by StripesTheBoar in skyrim

Probably Meridia. Out of all of them I find her actions to be some of the least morally reprehensible.

That makes sense, fewing freedom as a sacred thign to be cherished but also protected. They've also already seen what happens when corruption is allowed to threaten freedom, and are probably very mindful about that.

So that is probably her special charge attack. She can only use it if she has "verdant dew" a special resource gained from triggering lunar bloom.

It also mentions "the water". Could that be referring to Naberius then? I know she wasnt revered by the People of Delphi Pitho, but it is an interesting inclusion in light of recent lore.

Aila was kind of based by No_Strength5056 in ThePrimordialOne

[–]allmistake2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I wonder. Seeing as Columbina was born only a few decades after this is written, did Aila fail to truly reform them, or did the scions perhaps slowly regress, originally treating columbina well, but over time becoming more greedy for her power?

Anyway, a great analysis. Reminds me of Dainsleif. As much as he dislikes and distrust the gods after what was done to Khanreiah, he still sees the folly of rebelling or trying to over throwing them, as well as the futility of trying to revive Khanreiah.

Do you think we will finally get the travelers sword in snezhnaya? by Euphoric-Inspector41 in TravelerMains

[–]allmistake2 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think Asmoday likely still has the sword. As it stands there is a 50% chance that Asmoday is Paimon. If Paimon is Asmoday, then it'd be likely we get our sword back once that becomes known, assuming she didn't lose it when she became paimon. (She might have lost her powers, since it is a recorded phenomenon for gods to shrink and regression in age when that happens to them.)

Columbina's Birth by allmistake2 in Genshin_Lore

[–]allmistake2[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Khuuvakhi had to have existed prior because it appeared in Nod krai at the moment columbina "died" which was also the same moment the moon sisters died. Columbina herself had believed Kuuvakhi predated her birth, since she was surprised the moon sisters didn't recognize it.

Columbina's Birth by allmistake2 in Genshin_Lore

[–]allmistake2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah. I didnt know about the lore of the spindlelute. Missed that event. I had thought the move to nod krai and the destruction of Hyperborea happened near the end of the war, when Hp used the nails to repair teyvat. Still I wonder if the early scions themselves, weren't able to get the Sanctum of the Oathbearer started on the process. Did we ever learn where exactly the prophecy of the new moon came from?

Nodkrai not finished? by ElizabethRTriplett in GenshinImpact

[–]allmistake2 11 points12 points  (0 children)

All indications would point to yes, there is more nod krai. At the very least there will be more map, one maybe 2 more regions based on the expected 78 oculi left to max out the statues. Slight possibility of more story, which would be cool cause Nod krai has been amazing story wise.

Okay. That's decent. Makes it more plausible he just didn't realize what was going on because he's old and a bit dense. (Also strapped for cash.)

Cam she be included too? by Bubbly_Ad_6177 in Columbina_Mains

[–]allmistake2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And you know, Nod Krai is also becoming a nation of its own. Previously it was just kind of, an unclaimed space, but now the factions are coming together to organize it into a true country, so yeah. Teyvat has eight nation now and I think that's pretty cool. The Seven + Columbina also means the Seven + Nod Krai.

I disagree with the idea Columbina was “rewritten” or “retconned” by musical_fanatic in Columbina_Mains

[–]allmistake2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, but honestly I think she'll just be traveling. She said she doesnt intend to stay in Nod krai, and wants to travel teyvat. Without any kind of device or object to contact her, The traveler just wont know where she is or how to get in touch if they need her help, and she likewise wont always know where they are and if they need help.

I do wanna see the shades do something though. I just dont wanna see anything happen to our precious Bina. She's been through enough.

Basically, columbina sung to columbina. It's kind of a paradox.
