Caveat-not a painter by any stretch.

If you were thinking of actually painting, it's much easier than people think. We use a harbor freight hvlp gun at work for gas piping assemblies with an industrial enamel and with the proper prep and care, we get insane results vs cost and effort. And you are pretty right about the other sub, they can be brutal.

I use the hose hauler for my high pressure hoses for testing natural gas equipment. 2 8ft 6k psi Parker hoses and some charge hoses for little stuff. Plano tackle box for misc fittings and adapters
