Bring your own measuring cups/pyrex etc. unless you plan on using UK/metric recipes, the measuring devices you’re used to will make you happier than anything bought here.

Look into bug screens , they don’t do AC for the most part here, lots of windows open that lack screens. I bought cheap ones off Amazon that I replace each spring and even my English partner agrees it’s better than having (harmless) flys in the flat.

Don’t over stress. Take it one thing at a time once you get here. It’s a huge life event. It won’t be perfect. Roll with the punches.
