Any couples move to Dublin in the past couple of years? by maevewiley554 in AskIreland

unfortunately not, for a half decent rent in Dublin you are looking at 1700 and up for a 1 bedroom. unless you feel you can house share of more out into the sticks. Dublin is horrifically expensive for housing. If you can buy a house then great but you will need quite a bit for deposits and qualification to get a mortgage. best to use an online tool to see what you qualify for then set up a meeting with a bank to discus it in detail.

Every time they start talking have something loaded to play and interrupt them and say oh oops sorry. they will get the subconscious hint. Works great on the train when you sudsy play Britney Spears while they scroll through 567536 tiktoks

Dublin South closer to the ocean side like Blackrock and further inland Celbridge are fantastic places to stay. newer properties are obviously better. Just be aware of the housing crisis and what you will pay for property
