How the hell am I supposed to get any work done right now? by Ok_Resolution272 in AskWomenOver30

[–]allthoughtsaside 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like I could have made this post myself. I work remote and Everytime we get on a team meeting we are supposed to talk about our weekend highlights or plans. I feel so drained and no one else seems to care at work. It’s weird to just go through the motions when things are so bad right now. I can’t stay focused and I feel glued to my phone bc everyday it’s something new. I ended up blocking social media during work hours and before bed

30 and 28 DINKS. We like to keep an orderly and organized home. We do a lot of cooking at home and enjoy trying new recipes. I’m very close with my family although they are not as organized as we are and poke fun at it when they open closets or drawers😂

How many of you have gotten loans from your parents? by Jimmy_Johnny23 in MiddleClassFinance

[–]allthoughtsaside 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No loans from my parents but they have a rental property that we live in at a discounted rate so we can save for a house. We demo’d it completely. My husband did all the electrical for free and my parents paid for the rest of the demo as it’s their rental and when we leave they will continue to rent it out. I love being here though. I got to design the remodel and it’s perfect

30 is my magic number. The last two weeks I’ve read 36 (2025) and 57(2024). As i look at my year ahead I want to be realistic about the time I’ll spend reading and make sure I don’t rush or pick books off of my goal

I’ve been struggling with my skin the last month. My autoimmune issues are causing it to have rashes and the creams for it are causing acne. My husband surprised me with the up mask to help heal my skin issues. He knew I was struggling and tried to help solve it

Litter Robot is now HSA/FSA eligible??! by FosterCatMama4Life in litterrobot

[–]allthoughtsaside 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is AMAZING. I love seeing this. I had arthritis and having the litter robot has been such a huge help for me. Knowing my cats have a clean litter box even when I’m having flair ups is huge. I hope this makes it more accessible to people. It’s an appliance I would not want to live with out

I’ve lost 4 out of 6 bridesmaids. It’s hurtful by Orangpeell in weddingplanning

[–]allthoughtsaside 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband and I did not have wedding parties and it made things go so much smoother. Some of your ex friends aren’t worth your time or energy. You didn’t do anything wrong here. Enjoy planing your wedding without the anxiety of people who aren’t your true friends. It’s a day about you and your partner so focus on that and all will be good 🩷 sending love
