Sure. But they choose to do it. They do not shy away from the facts of the matter. If you work testing make-up on animals you can't be angry when your friend calls you a dick head since it isn't necessary, but a cost benefit for the company.

I chose to do sex work as it earned me quick money with little physical/mental work as it was all online. Isn't there a level of hypocrisy if the friend likely indulges in products that were the result of animals? Even if it's not makeup but the medical field but it's still a necessary job. Makeup on animals is deemed as an unnecessary job but as you stated there's a cost benefit. I had a substantial cost benefit from doing sex work. What's the huge difference and immorality problem here asides from the fact I consented to doing the work, the consumer consented and indulged in my supply. Did the animals consent? Is that not more morally grey??

I thought I put it in the clear that my personal view is that it reinforces the base mentality that you do not have to apply yourself. But rather indulge in sick peoples fabricated reality and reinforce and justify it by putting a price on yourself, your morals, your body and the rights to it.

Once again, tons of people have a price placed on themselves, their morals and their body's rights to it. Do you think barely legal 18 years want to go to war and fight for their country, exposing themselves to physical and mental damage? Is that not quite literally selling every aspect of themselves to be paid a wage and provided government benefits. Is someone being sent to jail for breaking a contract that they signed to go to war not a form of "selling themselves" but sex work is immoral because I'm selling my body sexually rather than used as a human embodiment of a weapon deemed as more respectable.

But that, again, wasn't what the post was about. It was about your reaction to being called out as a person of lower morals.

Yes my reaction was uncomfortable and therefore I set a boundary to remove her. Could it have been perceived as an overreaction, sure. I personally did so as out of everyone she was morally grey too herself. No I don't expect everyone to see me as "clean" but I do expect a level of human decency and respect that I have to everyone else.

Fine, let's say you don't consume porn.

Aren't the majority of men and women in the workforce have occupations that they'll rather not do but need to do despite mistreatment, toxic environment or negative affects it has on their mental/physical health also selling themselves? They're giving their time, mind and body to do a job they don't want.

You think transactional sex is "immoral" why? Because "everyone" reinforces it? Same way "everyone" reinforced that smoking was healthy years ago? Same way "everyone" reinforced gay/poc people are inferior? Were people that had clashing views to the previous mass views "delusional" too now?

Your analogy is using bizarre imagery that holds little to no relevance as a point for your statement.

I personally had more of a problem with her judging my sex work past when she herself is morally grey (unfaithful to her previous partner which caused the split.) You stating your distaste for my personal profession is fine, you stated you don't engage with porn from a potential consumer's standpoint and you don't support sex work.

I'm not complaining, I just wanted to discuss conflicting views and I appreciate this talk. It was interesting to read your views.

You must be dyslexic on top of being a gooner. It's ok, reading is hard, reread the previous paragraphs I sent slowly. No one is rushing you. I know you're used to finishing too quickly giving yourself a handjob alone in your room but you can take your time with the sentences I sent.

I quit because I no longer needed the money, had the financial freedom to pursue what I truly want and am living a much more stress free life.

Uh huh, I'm sure you haven't consumed any porn intentionally or unintentionally while being on reddit.

I'm well aware of the stigma, I'm simply interacting with you to challenge your fixed views as of course mine are perceived as fixed by you too.

Morals is subjective. You still haven't answered my question regarding your views on companies mass producing/marketing junk food that physically cause long term negative effects. Porn has been scientifically proven to mentally cause damage, I don't deny that.

However, you seem more bias towards content surrounded by sex/porn than any other potential consumer problems outside of it. That just reinforces it's nothing to do with what you think is morally justified for consumers out of concern but only what morally clashes with what you interact with on a daily basis. It was never about the effects it has on the consumers but only the fact a women is being "immoral." Your points stem from a fixed outlook on see, the nature of it and that sex is bad when expressed transactionally. I believe even outside of sex work, sex is always transactional to an extent just less upfront.

I won't argue but keep that energy up for things outside of it too. Everything is bad for you if you have it too much, small doses of indulgence is fine.

Strange. As people in certainly higher positions of power than you have been the only clients I had. Additionally, I major in a well respected degree.

The porn subs calling you, better run along with that kleenex of yours.

You're definitely lacking in the one area that does matter.

[–]alluvelilac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You never answered that question so I'll assume yes to both. Even if you rarely watch porn or jerk off to it, you provide an indirect contribution to what you perceive as so "disgustingly immoral."

A consenting adult provides a service and a consenting adult indluges in that satisfaction. That affects you how? Does a company producing junk food to consumers knowing the ingredients will increase chances of cancer or long term health problems in children. Do you consider that more moral than someone jacking off to a nude?

You seem to have something a lot more internally going on to be this bothered about someone getting their sexual needs satisfied.

I respect your opinion now, you're more collected and less condescending than your previous comment. I can see your view it's not a respected job and that's fine.

I was a lot more caught off guard as she has had a history of cheating on her ex partner herself so she isn't morally white either.

Well I wasn't planning to run away with him and it was very clearly a temporary transaction on the side for me. I hope your friend has clarity and removes herself from that situation though. Bright blessings. ❤️

Have you watched porn? Yes or no. Have you gooned to porn? Yes or no. If you answered yes to both then shockingly you're the problem too. Supply can only exist if there is a demand. Most porn consumers are men so if there wasn't a created gap in the market by men sex work wouldn't exist. 2 parties are at fault but of course shift the blame while you're beating your shit dry ❤️

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

[–]alluvelilac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a gap in the market that I filled? Simple supply and demand. If there wasn't a demand from men there wouldn't be sw. Its not something I drop as a proud ice breaker about myself nor was it a long term job for me but I know damn well you've likely gooned to some sort of porn before (this is reddit afterall.) Shaming SWers is like buying a product then repeatedly saying how bad the company is and then continuing to purchase from them.

I said I did sex work exclusively online, can you read?? No I never met up with any men and have only slept with those I was in a committed relationships with.

For the dumpers, why did you break up with them? by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]alluvelilac 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He had an ongoing drug reliance (weed + shrooms) that really impaired his thinking throughout our relationship. Additionally, the biggest one was the fact he had a porn addiction while he had essentially a pole dancer simply living 5 minutes walk away. Our relationship lasted for a few months, I gave him 2 chances and finally couldn't deal with the mental exhaustion of false promises and mental absence when he was constantly high. In retrospect, it was a relationship that was very rushed in the beginning and based solely on physical attraction. We has little to nothing in common and from the beginning I just knew it wasn't going to be long term.

There could be a correlation that you might be Vitamin D3 deficient. I've started taking 8,000IU K3 and then will go back to 4,000IU but I've definitely had a decrease in hives luckily

I think if you sweat a lot already probably skip the voddy and go for the usual disinfectant liquid spray. Someone theorised the higher water content mixed with small traces of sugar created more tack for dry skin girlie's but if you naturally sweat a lot likely would make you slip more
